Nice artworks! I have a bunny myself and he is the most chaotic being but also the most precious to me. I have been meaning to try using dry gouache. I prefer the intensity straight from the tube but hoping that having a dry palette I can pick up easily will make it easier to pick up and get started painting.

The convenience of a dry palette is supppper nice for painting on the go! I've ben testing out their portability and I've been enjoying them a lot!

Hi Emily! I loved the video, I have never tried gouache, so good to hear what you thought if it. I'm primarily an oils girl at the moment. Thinking I might have a go of gouache now too. Thanks for your great content!😊❤ Ange in Australia xxx

@@EmilyMackeyArt For the record, "acrylic gouache" is literally just matte acrylic paint. If you wanted to try matte acrylics, you can also find them with that name (and keep in mind they're about as travel-friendly as satin acrylics)

Gasp! you're not into watercolor? say it isn't so. haha, nah. no worries I understand sometimes it takes a while to get into different art mediums vs creative mediums we may have grown comfortable with but who knows perhaps one day you might find your groove with watercolor, I use to avoid watercolor as I couldn't figure out how to get the paint to do what I wanted it to do vs color pencils and markers etc but eventually I decided to dive in and give it a go, you're already such a skilled intuitive painter I think you'll get the hang of it. I still struggle with watercolor from time to time but it's been fun learning. awe sweet bunnies, glad you were able to help them, gauche is still a bit new to me hence I opted for the budget friendly stuff to make sure I like it before upgrading to a higher quality brand, but those look really nice! I've seen a few other artists using those, might try em one day ❤

Hi from England. I tried to paint a sea painting you did once in oil but my clouds looked awful after a few attempts to repair them I whitewashed the canvas so try again when in more confident. Great videos. Glad you're feeling better now. 👍😊🥰

I’ve never clicked with watercolor either, at all, and have had the same issue of not being able to take oils on the road. But I’ve started playing with watercolor markers and neocolor 2s and I’ve been surprised that I’ve actually been liking it. It’s still not as saturated as oils or acrylics of course but something about using these is much more like drawing but with paint rather than washy watery watercolors that you have to wait for everything to dry to make anything. And they’re much easier outside to use than anything with a pallet. (Although you can use one with these materials too if you want.)
