I did this when I was a kid. We used glass vases, coke bottles, beer bottles, mason jars, etc. We didn't use a blow dryer though. We did it the old fashion way. Long stem candles to melt the crayon. For the life of me I can not remember where I learned it.... I want to lean towards school or something but I'm not for sure🤣
I just started selling my pieces to raise funds for Conservation and I want to switch from a hair dryer to a heat gun. Which heat gun do you recommend?
Dewalt That’s for like hardcore tools or construction ppl but it’s great nonetheless Then they have a crafters heat gun.... not as intense or loud and obviously not same level of heat as dewalt but it’s way better than a hair dryer and will be perfect for most if not all projects you will need something like that for. Even shrinkadinks! Anyways - it’s the crafters heat gun made my Ranger brand. Definitely a good choice imo!
I did a melted crayon thing with a hair dryer in my tiny apartment. Just put up a few garbage bags to protect the walls & carpet from splatter. No need for an art studio!
It's crazy that this is a thing, I just thought of what would happen if someone were to use heated crayons, but apparently, it's a huge fad right now xD
The Fire Rainbow is so perfect!!! 😍🌈😍🌈😍🌈
Thank you!
In my opinion, it was better without white
Hi, I followed your tutorial and it's amazing. But I noticed that the melted wax started to crack. Do you use any type of finish to protect it?
Me encanta. Aunque yo no hubiese puesto encima el blanco. Hubiese dejado esos colores de arcoiris tan llamativos. Eres una gran artista. Te admiro
Gracias!
You are an incredible artist!

I have Netflix but have never (and will never) watch the Tiger King. Neat project. Looked like fun. :D - Heidi
