Amira's classical singing and charm is a sharp contrast to what we expect in popular culture these days. That a young girl would choose to sing and perform opera, hence bringing beauty and hope into this falling world of egomaniacs, is beyond what any of the other "talents" out there young or old are doing. Her voice and the images here leave you with a "wow."
Every time I come back to this video, I cannot help but think that it is one of the most beautiful videos on the internet.

This version of Ave Maria is the most touching and brings the emotional salutation to great light. Her voice is literally pure and as heavenly sounding as much as I know. She is my favorite opera singer and I love every song she sings.

Amira's voice is truly immaculate and beyond comprehension, that her ethereal existence is so incredibly miraculous in the best of ways. I almost cannot fathom how exquisite her voice is!!! Thank you, God for blessing all of us with Amira Willighagen!

She's come a long way since winning Holland's got Talent and it looks as though a golden path is stretching out in front of her. Alan Munch to be honest I've even broke to tears while watching this video and listening to Angel's voice. I still remember all the places of beautiful Vienna like it was yesterday. It was 7 years ago, and I hope my children will have a chance to visit Vienna and, who knows, listen to this Angel's voice live.

Robert, this is the Cassini/Vavilov version; I don't think she has yet sung the Schubert version. It's a brilliant performance IMO, showing the resonance in her upper range extremely well.
The lower tones are coming in today, now that she is twelve. She has never sang Schubert's. That's my favorite. Amira has a gorgeous voice. She is one of three twelve year olds who learned via RUclips that are incredibly talented. The other two are a jazz singer and a pop singer/songwriter.
Robert, did you mean Angelina and Grace? There are other 12 year old gifted singers who did not learn primarily by YT such as Sterre and Krisia. Whatever their inspiration, the world is a better place for all of these wonderful young talented singers!

Soy un ignorante de la música de Opera; empero, me encontré con el video de su actuación en el "Talent Holanda 2013" y quede extaciado de su voz. Leí con mucha pena algunos comentarios negativos, y aunque solo soy ese receptor del otro lado, su voz transmite los sentimientos y emociones que el autor de la música quiso transmitir y que perduraran en el tiempo. Dios la cuide y que tenga una larga carrera de opera.
