Unless I’m becoming an architect, math teacher, or a specific type of engineer, I will never use this in my life. This school system is broken. I can show my intelligence some other way.

I disagree, you are probably in algebra 2 or pre-calc right now... meaning you chose to take a math class that is not required (at least in my school) and didn't think that the vast majority of this is useless unless your field of study needs it? Sure, you can make the argument that you need to take it so you can get into the college you want or a scholarship to said college. Even then, you are pursuing a HIGHER education, meaning you are learning things above what is needed for the average person. I know this is an old comment, and trust me, I'd be the first to criticize the school system. However, blaming school for getting math problems you asked for seems pretty ridiculous. Cheers
