- I've seen a couple levels using songs with quite iconic lyrics, which obviously aren't available through Newgrounds, in recent times. It's a pretty interesting move to make projects with to me personally as I don't find vocals too fitting for Geometry Dash levels in general. However, I'd say it works quite well here. The song itself has a lot of what you'd expect from a song in this game, featuring a clear beat and dance- and synth-pop elements, which is common for songs in custom levels. These aspects allow for good synchronization. The only thing that makes it stand out as a song is the vocals on top, and the level's theme incorporates them really well. Obviously, this is a disco song with its iconic line being about spinning around, so the level's colors pulsing like a dance floor, a disco ball in the background, and various spinning art, such as the radio at 0:29 and records at 1:01, fit perfectly. Visually, all the creators did a good job at making the song work well for a Geometry Dash level. Some parts do go a bit simple on the detail, which is probably partly why this is referred to as a "layout" by the creators. I'd say the decoration here is a few levels above that, though, so I wouldn't mind going even further with the detail in certain parts to make it look better. However, I can also understand wanting to keep it more simple, which is fine as well; it's a balance that's up to the creator team.
As for the gameplay, it also synchronizes incredibly well to the song. We have the fast speed from start to finish, matching the song's tempo, as well as many quick pads, orbs, and game mode changes to the quick beat. The difficulty will be around Insane Demon once rated. As mentioned at the start, the song isn't on Newgrounds, but there is a chiptune remix that works quite well. All in all, I think this deserves a Featured Insane Demon rating. Special thanks to Blueskiii for reaching out about showcasing this, as well as providing the footage.

The consequence of playing GD and creating levels for many years is that I started to imagine what a fitting gd level would look like whenever I hear a random song in my free time that is completely unrelated to the game. It's kinda a curse but it often brings a lot of ideas and it's fun to visualize a song in my head. The song is basically a levels very fundament, so being limited with only NG songs and NG doesn't have a great variety of songs in each genre, it also limits a big part of what you can express with your level. It's a bit of a shame that levels with Nong songs can't be played by a big part of the community and therefore not be appreciated as much. I'm glad that creators still build them and this one is such an awesome example. I love how the song was interpreted in terms of gameplay and visuals which are both perfectly fitting imo. I always love when people create layouts or even decorated levels with popular songs or classics. They usually don't get that many downloads ingame since they often don't get rated but from what I've seen they can get a lot of views on RUclips because viewers from outside of the gd bubble watch it too. I hope this is the case for this awesome level as well, so the creators get the attention they deserve.

You seriously can’t call this a layout! The effects and all honestly make it already look decorated, not to mention there’s already bg deco. Most rated layouts don’t have such bg, and I think it’s impressive that this one does. I think this is extreme demon, not insane. Not sure why people think it’s insane demon, unless if people rated it that because it’s insanely awesome. Might as well vote it extreme for extremely awesome tbh. Either way, the creators did an amazing job creating this “layout”, and I hope to see more levels like this in the future!
