Just a tip as a jewellery designer, I don't use glues often or tweezers as my work is generally bead and crystal stitched Jewellery. But this was a tip my father taught me as a small child. He did a lot of fine work with woods and inlays. If you rub Vaseline into the tips of the fine tweezers, (a very thin layer) when you pick up something and get a touch of glue on the tweezers tips, it doesn't bind to them but the Vaseline instead, it will just wipes off with a tissue, even after it's dried.
So adorable!! I can't believe they still make these little rabbits. I bought these 20 years ago for my kids. They came with hats and furniture and skateboards. Now look how they are used!!! So cute!!
WOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW YOU ARE A GENIUS OF MINIATURIZATION. YOU MAKE ME REVERSE. I DO NOT SEE AT ALL TO MANUFACTURE A LITTLE SMALL CHAIR ... I ALREADY HAVE DIFFICULTY IN MAKING LARGER THINGS LOLLLLL BUT YOUR WORK DREAMS ... BRAVO TO YOUR GREAT TALENT ... YOU ARE SURE THE HAPPINESS OF THOUSANDS OF GIRLS. LONG LIFE TO YOUR CHAIN AND YOUR WORK ..
My kit just came in the mail and I'm so glad you made a video on the assembly because I think it will really help me out! THANKS!! You decorated it so prettily too :)
I'm literally in the middle of doing one of these builds now (just stopped for a coffee). I love doing them but they try me, especially the real tiny bits like beads for vases etc. I have the kit used for this video as my next one so it's useful to watch this, thanks for uploading
Hmmm looks cool in the vid but I feel like this is one of those projects that would have me cussing and throwing shit across the room a whole bunch before finally just giving up, lol.
Jamie Krouse. Funny I should re-stumble upon this post. Am out of town visiting God Daughter. I took HER daughter, my Great God Daughter to a Butterfly Conservancy today. Found dioramas in the gift shop. Pricing started @ $60. No, she did not get one. Why, you ask? Because I refused to pay the $145 for The Wizard of Oz in a tin can.
sandrartes thank you, I think I will. Im excited to try. Especially now that Fall is here and we are starting to get kind of cold. This wilk be a great way to entertain myself!
For sure!! When you start to assemble a kit like this it's like going to another dimension! The details are amazing and when you finish the box it's like magic! :D
That balcony took me HOURS to complete :D The glue just wouldn't dry and it is a little wobbly ... nearly made me cry :D But these little kits are so much fun ... currently working on my third kit :)
hihi!! This can cause addiction!! :D Talking for myself! I used the glue that came in the kit and I loved it! i was the siliglue... I know that sometimes these kits don't have the glue included...
Mine did not have the glue included .. I used superglue and it worked for most of the parts , but not all of them .. :) Yepp, definitely addicting :D I have ordered all the remaining kits that I didn't already have yesterday .. so yeah - I am broke, but happy :D :D
Lucy Intheskywithdemons liquid silicone glue is the best for these kits...when I don’t have it I use white glue and the T8000 (this one is great on fabrics)
As I am from Germany, I am not sure if I can get these here. I ordered some modell building glue ( ? :D ? ) and hope to get better results with that. But thank you for the tip - I will have a look and see what I can find over here :)
Back in the days, we didn't have these miniature sets for our drafting class. We had to start from scratch to make house models. It was tough scaling down the structures we want. I feel like doing this again as a hobby.
Oi Nilza!! :D
I made this one and 2 other kits. I never thought that these kits could be so pleasant to assemble! I'm so happy that I've tried it!! :D Now I just want to make more! haha!! :D
I love bunnies, but I'd probably leave them out, as they just feel to big and goofy for this beautiful miniature. I know it is bunny related, but they just don't look right, maybe if they were not so chunky, everything else looks delicate and they are not.
I ordered 5 of them all different ones got them off ..wish..lot cheap than e bay or any where else...they r awesome cant wait to start crafting them...
Hi Maria!! :D For the quality of the items the price almost looks ridiculous! You will not be sorry if you buy it! They are so cute!! You can find also other models ;)
This is so cute, but... anyone else wish the Chinese firm who created these, had employed someone English to write out the story on the lid of the tin? :D
My thoughts exactly, it spoils the finished piece for me 😢I've got 2 coming but I'm tempted to type out the story on a slip of paper over the top of it. It's not their fault, they are very clever for doing such detailed models and designs but yeah the writing has just as much meaning as the finished display so needs more accuracy.
Just buy some cheap thin photo paper, scan the whole thing and select 1:1 in your scanner, open it in paint or another image editor. And create a white filled square over the top of the text, then just correct the text and print to 1:1 Linda
Could you please tell me what glue you are using? I bought a couple kits and have been using Aleene's Tacky Glue. It works well but the glue you are using seems to hold better, quicker. Thanks so much!

Good tip. Thank you.
that's good tip!!!!!
Thank you!!!! This bothered me everytime, I had to mostly use my fingers instead
Wish I'd known this 3 days ago 😉
That is an awesome tip, thank you!!!
So adorable!! I can't believe they still make these little rabbits. I bought these 20 years ago for my kids. They came with hats and furniture and skateboards. Now look how they are used!!! So cute!!
I had no idea that they existed for lo long!! They are completely new for me! :D
Sarah, i remember the little critters. Can't remember names though. Lilo maybe? Wasn't there a song about 3 naughty baby rabbits who lost their way?
+sandrartes You stick rabbits?
Sylvanian families
@@annaroseannadanna1 They're called Calico Critters, I belive?
Thank you for sharing this video, I would have been completely lost with the sole instructions included. I’m so happy with the final result ☺️☺️
Agreed! I came on to RUclips because the instructions about setting up the lights was a little confusing to me. Thank you for the video.
I ordered the under the sea version a few weeks ago and can't wait to get it and start building. They all look so adorable!
They are!! :D
You're going to love it!! :D
How long did it get to you? Did you get it from Bang good? I'm worried I'd lose interest if it takes like a month or so to arrive. Hehe
These are so cute! I wish they made Harry Potter ones. 😍
oooh i would love one of hogsmeat (Probably spelld totally wrong :) )
I was literally just thinking this
Yeah or Hogwarts ( I think that will be too difficult lol ) or even the Burrow
You could always diy it tho it may be a little difficult
Love EM diy Kits ❤️
Excellent video! It help me a lot to figure out how to put together this kit! Thank you so much!
WOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW YOU ARE A GENIUS OF MINIATURIZATION.

LONG LIFE TO YOUR CHAIN AND YOUR WORK ..
The cutest thing ever. I make jewelry, but I'm not sure how I'd do with pieces that small and glue! The balastrade you made, whew.
Such a lovely video to watch, it is a very rewarding and beautiful outcome
My kit just came in the mail and I'm so glad you made a video on the assembly because I think it will really help me out! THANKS!! You decorated it so prettily too :)

I'm literally in the middle of doing one of these builds now (just stopped for a coffee).

Hmmm looks cool in the vid but I feel like this is one of those projects that would have me cussing and throwing shit across the room a whole bunch before finally just giving up, lol.

So... I'd say everybody can do it
Back in the 50's & 60's these were called diaramas. I think every kid has made one or helped someone make one for a school or 4H project. Lovely wrk!
SuzyQue ...they're still called that lmao

Is it very difficult?
Or just more a thing of patience?
Cute idea. Makes me want to get a tin and do my own design. Very cute.

작은 세상인데도 전등도 있고 있을건 다 있군요~ 너무 예쁘네요~
Beautiful.😍💖💖💖💖💖🙏
So cute!!
Great video! I used gell superglue and modge podge for the paper to wood. It takes 3 LR44 button batteries - got mine at the Dollar Tree.
googelyboogely - thank you!! Went to RUclips comments specifically for this info!
Thank you, I've been looking for this information!!
Back in the days, we didn't have these miniature sets for our drafting class. We had to start from scratch to make house models. It was tough scaling down the structures we want. I feel like doing this again as a hobby.

Wow! This is amazing.
I love bunnies, but I'd probably leave them out, as they just feel to big and goofy for this beautiful miniature. I know it is bunny related, but they just don't look right, maybe if they were not so chunky, everything else looks delicate and they are not.

Really well done. Awesome job! 💜
this is the dream 💗
so cute
Adorable and beautifully done - thanks for sharing. Subscribed.
This is so cute, but... anyone else wish the Chinese firm who created these, had employed someone English to write out the story on the lid of the tin? :D
Yes, so much work involved to have simply the word 'across' misspelled. Ruins it because it's so prominent

Linda T brill thanks so much 😊

haha!! sometimes I have good days and a steady hand! ;D
Thanks for your nice comment!! :D
I read through several comments and haven't found an answer. What glue do you use/recommend?
It comes with a tube of glue but I used wood glue for mine
Lovely!! As always!!
I had something like this back in the 90´s, it was called Polly Pocket.
love the background music
Could you please tell me what glue you are using? I bought a couple kits and have been using Aleene's Tacky Glue. It works well but the glue you are using seems to hold better, quicker. Thanks so much!
I loveed it more n more
Parabéns muito lindo
My logic: " _I_ may not be able to have a house this nice but THESE little guys can!"
Magic
As always it, turned out great.
It's so cute!!!! You made it very good and I like it so much!!!!
Amo!!
I have so many questions!
Do we have to put the wires in
Can we use hot glue instead of glue that you're using?
J'adore
What glue do you recommend using? Any particular glue ? Or just plain craft glue?
i am going to wach this every day intell i gat mine in the mail
