“Neptune taught him that Toriyama was slowly becoming a worse writer.” Sadly, I feel that the same is true with whoever writes the dub scripts of Neptunia; for some reason, I do not believe that the writers have come close to the excellent writing of Neptunia 1: a master class of light hearted comedy with a focused narrative, and Mk. 2, which I would consider a doctorate level course in character writing.
I cant say much on this really. I love the characters of Neptunia, and sadly i have forgotten most of the story TBH. I liked the anime, but I'd say it excells at being fun more then 'good'. It's been years and I still haven't finished Re;birth 2, due to Re;birth one taking me so much grinding to beat it burnt me out. But I can say that Toriyama was never the master writer alot of people says he is.
