Great video for sure and as far as pro wrestling goes I definitely think Billy Graham was the first as he is really seen as the ble print for wrestlers from the 80's even though he started much earlier.
That is the million dollar question. Think we can’t be for sure, and there might have been others who used them way before, but he might be the first one who was really outspoken about it. As far as physiques goes, most guys in the 50s to 60s looked fairly strong, but non one was crazy outstanding. Once the 70s and especially 80s started, suddenly the difference became obvious. Also thanks for your feedback Donovan.
So sport has basically not been authentic for the past 70 years or so? Can't trust anything you watch, the entire integrity of professional sport was compromised a long time ago. Interesting now and makes sense why Vince and the WWF took the brunt of it all in the early 90's, was a deflection and a cheap easy way to do it because wrestling is an entertainment sport and so it didn't really matter if they took all the heat. You cannot bet on wrestling matches..........
Yeah, thats a good point. Ziegler regreted his research in his later years. But if all high levels sports uses something, that makes the playfield almost even again....complicated issue, isnt it? As far as for fighting, it still takes a lot of skill, same with other sports. My former trainer always said....a bad fighter on roids is stilla bad fighter, just stronger than before :)
@@howstrongis That's bollocks though, it's best cheating technology wins, how can anyone truly call themselves a great when using enhancements? How can they sleep at night with satisfaction? All rubbish as far as I'm concerned. Wiss dee Churman accent, das widdeo ist mor legit. We need more German video narration in everything. That, and little people in every Wrestlemania. That's the world I want to live in.
It is crazy to think that steroids were once legal. I had to take limited doses for inflammation twice (gout), and they worked instantly. Something I would love to try for a month to see how it felt, but never would due to the serious side effects. One of the reasons so many pro wrestlers die in their 50s.
That comment made my day. I tried my best to hide it…. But jokes aside , the irony is that in the beginning I hired someone for voiceovers or ai, and people didn’t like it, once I switched no one mentioned anything anymore. Weird sometimes. Now if I tell you that I made previously a video about the wwf wrestlemania midget match where King Kong Bundy was involved, would you believe me?
Yeah, especially you could just by them in stores with no prescription in the beginning. Some countries have still fairly relaxed laws like Japan, which is funny, considering how strict they are with other substances.
Laws a lot more loose here, wonder how it is with other pro athletes? I know in PRIDE FC, non testing was a big topic. Most guys, once they went to the UFC suddenly shrunk down like Overreem...
Sports science and information on effective weight training has gotten much more sophisticated as well. Getting jacked as a natural lifter has never been easier with the wealth of good information out there.
True that, the whole landscape of exercise science changed tremendously the past 20 years. Unfortunately also a lot of misinformation out there, but generally speaking we living in easier times
Think in the Rogan interview he mentioned he was using anabolic steroids in his youth. Also most celebrities or athletes wouldn’t (nor should they) admit using anything, since it would have legal consequences in most countries
Think Morrison got suspended once. As for the others guys we never can be certain, but what working with pro wrestlers taught me is that sometimes , even if they don’t look like it, they are on something
If you go to any commercial gym, most of the people who use steroids don't look like they're on them. I wouldn't assume because they don't look like they're using gear that they're not on them. Look at Greg Valentine from the 80s. He didn't look like he used them at all, but he's admitted to using deca. But that being said also wouldn't necessarily believe everyone that looks jacked in wrestling is necessarily on there. There are genetic freaks in this world. They're rare, but they do exist
In case Miz isnt natural i would demand my money back :) But to be honest, while i cant name anyone here, there are wrestlers on the juice on TV right know who dont look like it at all. While they help a lot, getting the basics like nutrition and training right is still necessary.

Offically yes, but it might have been around longer.

Yeah, especially with recreational sports they make not much sense.
If you’re not a professional athlete or wrestler, there’s no point. You can get pretty big naturally without the health risks of PEDs
