      im not being funny here but it does not take a party planner to know how to make garlands you can also get like a garland strip which has holes in and you fill it with the balloons it will still give you the same outcome and look that is what I would do im a begginer to garlands and free styling like this just could go wrong for me id rather play it safe and just buy them roll of garland strip instead

    I luv your technique of tying balloon necks together , I tried this , and I’m never going back to using fishing line , thank you for your tips and tricks , You are my new favorite Balloon Artist on RUclips . You have a wealth of information, and I have learned so much ,from watching your videos. One of your videos u even mentioned color theory , and how u need to see which way the light was hitting the balloons ect . WOW, so much info. Thks again .You have been a blessing to me .

    Love love love everything you do! Your videos are so inspiring. My biggest issue is being surrounded by people who think balloons cost $10 and the rest is all profit for me. I have to get out of that market and reach new customers because having the wrong prices and customers will really discourage you and make you want to quit your balloon business....oh and don’t even get me started on people requesting things from me that I don’t even sell.

    • @chrissy5938
      @chrissy5938 3 года назад +38

      Lol...completely correct! Don’t get discouraged. I literally had someone ask me to do a garland for $100. I said ok do u want balloons from party city I can drop them to u if you like. She laughed and said she found someone to do it for that price. I said “ no problem..greatly! Please share the pictures when complete I would love to see them🙃💁🏾‍♀️.”

    I would invest in a quick tent with drop down walls, so that you don't have to spend time chasing down balloons. You want something light weight, not that bulky, which sets up super easy. I would factor that into initial costs, after you've made your money from a few of these.
    I've worked with different people who didn't want to invest in the tools necessary or the maintenance. It ALWAYS bites you in the ass eventually. Think in terms of upgrading as you gain in skill over time. And have back ups for all machinery.
    This was absolutely fascinating. I've been growing my own food and was trying to figure out a way to inexpensively create those half hoop rings, to drape mosquito netting over. Then, I remembered I had these balloons; and thought I might be able to tie two of those together for each hoop; but it popped.
    My next idea is to take the wax making kit that I have and encase paracord with the wax and then bend it into shape. If that doesn't work; then, remembering my military days, I was thinking of getting some towels and starching them and rolling them up and then bending into a U shape.
    I like to creatively solve problems. The more you do it, the better you get and the more complex problems that you are able to solve and much quicker.
    Thanks for posting this!

    • @Evevierou
      @Evevierou  3 года назад +3

      Preinflating the Garland makes it more vulnerable :) balloons need to be done on site for the best look especially outdoors when you already get limited shine due to oxidization! Plus most people take the same amount of time to setup a preinflated garland than I do as I go ONSITE :) and if you make it ahead of time you can't adjust for details or shape or colours after so that also locks you in! (And in this scenario we didnt even like the planned look before hand so it worked great it was made there :)

    Any suggestion/tips when doing balloons outside? As far as popping. Do you under inflate? Or use any product that helps them not pop as much? Etc

    I have another event , the color or theme is Chanel, back drop black an White with pink an silver. The budget isn’t that big so I’m thinking to use a balloon kit but I’m not sure about adding balloons to it lol 😂
