This is a hauntingly beautiful version. Ronnie's vocals accentuate the feeling and his clear pronunciation helps revel every word of the song. I saw someone say that Papa Roach's version was for the angry teens we were and Ronnie's version is for the broken adults that some have become. I feel that's an accurate description.
I can only agree with the description. My 17 or 18-year-old self screams inside, while today's me simply has several layers of goosebumps and a blurred vision when listening to this version. 🖤

Indeed to all you said. It's like everything before for him almost broke him, but he turned it around and is his best self yet...at the end of this masterpiece, everything is Falling In Reverse. Homage to him creating that band when he was straightening himself out pulled him out. The fire... maybe burning bridges from the past that caused the pain and detriment? I overthink things too much, but a neat take on the end maybe? This version is fu@king incredible!
Never changed the lyrics. Papa Roach was I'm angry and pissed off type of feeling. Falling in reverse is I'm down on my knees, backed into a corner crying for help

Is like I said to another person on another video: the original turns pain into anger and makes you wanna burn the who and what caused that pain, while Ronnie's version kinda pokes an old wound, reopens it and then cauterize it just on the limit so you don't bleed out. It is freaking insane!
And yeah, same way the 15 years old me could relate A LOT with the original, 28 me can with rhe reimagined.

@@Gus_95Ronnie’s for me, is a resignation that the pain has won. Not that it’s healed. The world has healed because it is built on your pain.

I've been dealing with a lot in the past few years and much of it internally. This song stopped me and made me recognize my emotions... pain, trauma, ptsd and anger. I've heard the original many times, but this does so much more. "nothing is fine" is exactly true, my facade has cracks and inside nothing is fine. I'm shattered like those buildings.
He truly shows his vocal range while instilling the emotion you need to feel to heal from what is weighing you down in life. A masterpiece in every sense of the word.
I just love how all of his latest releases are somehow connected. Either lyrical callbacks to other songs or visually like here reversing the end of watch the world burn. The „Ronnie cinematic universe“ is expanding and I can’t wait to see where this creative genuis is taking us with it ❤

This song hit me so hard. As someone who is a big fan of papa roach growing up listening to the original, I gotta say he knocked it out of the park with this, brought me to tears when I first heard it 👏👏👏
It seems the world is rebuilding after it got all burned down at the end of "Watch the world burn". So, he's still not fine, but he's OK with that, maybe? Anyway, thank you for the reaction and remember Gandalf's words: "I will not say do not weep, for not all tears are an evil." It's OK to get emotional.

Loved the reaction ❤! Ronnie did such a phenomenal job covering this. Reminds me so much of Johnny Cash's version of Hurt by Nine Inch Nails. Taking a heavy rock song and stripping it back to showcase the dark and despairing lyrics. Ronnie took a Nu Metal classic and turned it into an emotional orchestral piece. The talent.

This song and your reaction (watching your face react to each moment of the song is a ride) changed my experience of this song from my feelings about it yesterday. Yesterday and today, I feel it's genius and his musical and vocal talents are so much deeper than we knew but my take on the lyrics today is not just about su-c--e, but of seeing the world situation as it is currently. In the background, I have the TV on and am seeing all the weather chaos. The wind and storm damage and the smoke from the fires everywhere. It brings me back to visuals of movies past, showing the end of the world. My take? We're there and I don't see it turning around. (Sorry for being such a bummer, but I had to put it in writing.)
This version hits waaaaaay too hard for me at this point in my life.

When I first saw that he released this, I didn't think anything of it (I seemed to miss the part where it said REIMAGINED) so I was like cool he released a new-- and then it clicked, like WAIT!!!

This song changed me as a kid and I rebelled, but it helped let out some of my anger, since Discovering Ronnie again the last few years Ronnie has helped me learn again, I've been lost for a long time. Finally starting to pull out of it again cuz of Ronnie and surprise drop just added to the motivation. Best cover of this song... but if you guys wanna check out a different cover of a song you all knoe that will blow you away. Hop on the Kasey Chambers cover of Eminems lose yourself. I've known it for a while. Thought it was gonna blow up but I think the beginning turns people away its slow, butbythe end it like changes you. Ronnies gonna kill me if he sees this but Ronnie I love you and trying to help share amazing music, I do it with any8ne who doesnt know FIR. Just go listen even if you dont react to it but listen to the end. I promise you it's worth it

Rage is truly a stage of healing power in therapy. in dark deep depressions, you dont' cry. You are emotionless, gray, dusty. bleak. and empty city, empty halls in your soule. we all can read many things to the stages of the lose of someone or something important. A depression is always a lose of health most of the time, a singnal for many more to long denied lose in oure life.
so when someone gets to stage of crying, first silents maybe, but with help like with a theraphist you can shout. you learn to say that something as wrong instead of dening this fact.
But often at first, you MUST collapse, you must destroy some of your inner buildings to start new. iften some if this old building are to old. Old ways of lifing, core believs in teh one head, that are toxic in adulthood. To cry and should persons show themselfes that they are hurting, that things are unhealthy it need help, change. Some buildings will be build up again, some MUST burn and be gone. Its a very long and exhausting process. So yes, to have colors back would be great. The problem is, if you have bad deep traumas and deep chronical depressions, its almost impossible. You get moments of colors but deep down in the head, in the heart in the bones, it takes many struggling and many years. So you can reverse it temporary but so get the colors back. colors that maybe never where there, because of a toxic childhood, that a big thing. If you stand for teh last resort and need help and energy, to stepp back from the edge, the energy for colors are missing.

I have a request that I think you might enjoy reacting to! The song is called Charlie’s Inferno by That Handsome Devil. The song itself is very quirky and interesting and it has a really cool message.
Sometimes you think it's not good for your mental health. But that just means there are emotions you were pushing down and not dealing with. Sometimes I will listen to the same song in repeat and cry with it for like a whole day and just let it out. Sometimes I watch the same reaction like hate me from Blue October and cry with every reactor who watches it because I need to get it out. And then I move on... and I feel healed after.
Not dealing with it, is not better. Cry cry cry. Define where it's coming from and then let it go.
