My jaw dropped when I heard this the other day and I can’t stop listening to it. The Papa Roach version was rebellious and this version brought out the emotional side to it. Ronnie is a musical God
but the lyrics are the same, how can you hear the original and hear him talk about being suicidal and not see the song as emotional? just because it doesn't sound emotional instrumentally means nothing whatsoever, you hear the lyrics and you automatically see how vulnerable the original is, it's very ignorant to say it's not emotional just because of how it sounds

Papa Roaches version is very aggressive and upbeat both vocally and through the instrumentation, which makes it very easy to not hone in on the lyrics completely as you're too busy jamming with the best. Ronnie's version however is more vocally driven with a more sparse orchestral sound, which gives full focus to the lyrics themselves as there's not really anything else there to distract you. You have no choice but to listen to and analyze the lyrics.
Fun fact Jacoby from Papa Roach is actually a huge inspiration to Ronnie and is the reason he does his music the way he does so I think he did this to show Jacoby how much he meant to him

Falling In Reverse is the best!!! I can relate to them so much because I suffer from a panic disorder, PTSD, Bi- polar disorder, and social anxiety disorder. Ronnie's voice alone helps me a lot. So much love to Falling In Reverse ❤❤

Most songs are full of pauses and commentary, but even the most boisterous reactors sit there with obvious chills. It demonstrates not only how skilled Falling In Reverse is as a band but also why the original is such a classic, iconic song even to this day.

Poppa Roach's version focused on more the anger, and had that type of energy. This was like you said, that soul crushing sadness, yet hauntingly beautiful at the same time. Falling in Reverse is becoming a top band for me to listen to. I've loved everything I've heard from them thus far.

As someone who has struggled with suicidal thoughts many times in my life, this hit me on a whole level I wasn’t ready for.

Ronnie's friend played the piano, and I thought Ronnie had done it , as I was called out rightfully 😊 Ronnie and his amazing team produced to the epic papa Roach, but ronnie absolutely turned this into a beautiful masterpiece. Ronnie is great don't get me wrong but Sean Rooney is responsible for the composing, orchestration and piano work for this and the previous reimagined songs, them working together is amazing :)

BUT this song is depression/anxiety in a nutshell, the raw emotion in Ronnie's voice is insane. You can feel it in your soul literally OMG! I'd LOVE to see Falling in Reverse live, I'd lose my voice screaming the lyrics to all the songs they played. Popular Monster would make me have zero voice cause I'd scream the lyrics to that song so loud, I'd bawl my eyes out too, and if they played this song I'd cry harder.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND "Tom Traubert's Blues (4 Sheets to the Wind in Copenhagen)" by Tom Waits (Also known as "Waltzing Matilda"). His voice is so unique that one critic once described it as though "it was soaked in a vat of bourbon, left hanging in the smokehouse for a few months and then taken outside & run over with a car"! I personally resonate way more with the original. But definitely understand how much talent it takes to sing like that and to create the "arrangement" or composition as you said. THAT is what blew my mind (and the visuals). The poppy cover of the song is meh imo. But the composition is nuts.

Ronnie is great don't get me wrong but Sean Rooney is responsible for the composing, orchestration and piano work for this and the previous reimagined songs, them working together is amazing :)
I was just giving my thoughts after just remember watching the story about the making of the song I understand Sean is the power house , I just appreciate how closely attentive ronnie was with the song ,everyone involved did an amazing job and I just truly appreciate both versions

Okay WTF Ronnie! First he does this with his own songs, now he's covering other bands songs and doing the same thing? What can Ronnie NOT do someone please tell me, what can Ronnie Radke NOT make sound beyond words incredible? OMG! I LOVE this song and this makes me LOVE Ronnie and Falling in Reverse even MORE! Anyway this song HIT/SMACKED me HARD, the lyrics are so hauntingly beautiful and relatable I've been really struggling with depression for the last few weeks now. The last couple of days have been the worst, I've NEVER thought about taking my own life or cut myself and I NEVER would. BUT this song is depression/anxiety in a nutshell, the raw emotion in Ronnie's voice is insane. You can feel it in your soul literally OMG! I'd LOVE to see Falling in Reverse live, I'd lose my voice screaming the lyrics to all the songs they played. Popular Monster would make me have zero voice cause I'd scream the lyrics to that song so loud, I'd bawl my eyes out too, and if they played this song I'd cry harder.

His voice is so unique that one critic once described it as though "it was soaked in a vat of bourbon, left hanging in the smokehouse for a few months and then taken outside & run over with a car"! So many awesome artists do covers and majority of the time, I like them better than the original! This is up there on my list! Ronnie just has that ability to make you feel every emotion!
Papa Roach will make you headbang to it. This gives the lyrics more of a meaning to it. Do artists need to ask for permission to do sing it?

I personally resonate way more with the original. But definitely understand how much talent it takes to sing like that and to create the "arrangement" or composition as you said. THAT is what blew my mind (and the visuals). The poppy cover of the song is meh imo. But the composition is nuts.
Falling in Reverse can’t get awards because Harry Styles and Miley Cyrus, the lyrical fucking GENIUSES of our time, are killing it with “I can buy myself flowers” and just HITS like that.
