    Ordered last Friday. Been waiting for a jackshaft spinning pedal kit since 2018. Even belt drive users can use this. I’m so excited.

    Hey 👋 your kit is nice💯 i have only one question. Can i use a 420 chain on the sprocket?

  • @AarPlays
    @AarPlays 3 года назад

    Fyi for any one watching this, after you spin the wheels be sure to squeeze the chain and move the sprocket into place that allows you to have your fingers the closest. Even with spinning the wheels a freewheel has room to play. By squeezing the chain you are ensuring it is as close to the front split sprocket as possible, which is dead center.

    Hey I'm installing the power pedal kit right now. Unlike on this video, my split sprocket does not have a tight compression fit when fully screwed in. It spins freely. I have a Sur Ron X Black 2020. Has anyone else experienced this and will that middle screw be strong enough to keep it from spinning under force? I'm skeptical.

    • @shanefrank3281
      @shanefrank3281 3 года назад

      Mine would not spin when the 2 outer screws were fully tightened. That is odd.

      They sent me a new one that fit properly. It's all good now.

    Can you replace the chain guard after install? Or does it interfere with the kit?

    • @kaniwaba
      @kaniwaba  4 года назад +1

      The chain will rub against the guard so I recommend removing it. It will work, but it will make a noise.

    • @AarPlays
      @AarPlays 3 года назад

      Old comment but getting a different freewheel to change the gear ratio will give you a higher speed if you increase the size.

    • @happygil4698
      @happygil4698 3 года назад

      do they have different freewheels available?

  • @johndowns6682
    @johndowns6682 3 года назад

    I had to install the upper sprocket the opposite way. They would not line up to allow the srews to sink into the cutouts on the shaft. Otherwise very helpful.

      This kit is not attached to the swingarm. The Luna kit is. This is much better mechanical speaking and safer.

      I have never seen anyone have anything good to say about the Luna kit. The fact that it is attached to the swingarm was a deal breaker for me. This one is definitely the one to get.

    • @shanefrank3281

      The Sur-Ron can't be registered in the USA. If it has functioning pedals then it is considered a class 2 E-Bike and you don't have to register it and can ride it anywhere. Nobody intends to go around pedaling with these at 3 mph.
