For some reason, I get the impression that the Cole and his friends are monsters who think they're human and are starting to realize the true nature of themselves and their hometown. this feels like New Zealand's answer to Tales From the Gas Station. Also, I laughed way harder than I should've at picturing Tom doing a finger gun at Cole and just casually saying "yep...you're fucked" after randomly opening the letter lol
I would say it's much more Neverglades than Tales, but yeah you're not wrong. I'm looking forward to seeing where this one goes. Super excited for a new MCP series in the likes of The Nevergalde Mysteries and TFTGS.
@@Dev-ts6zj I feel like the tone is too goofy to be Neverglades. While Neverglades has some comic relief here and there, it's overall pretty unforgivingly dark
@@vanessaashford9203 Yeah but substance-wise it's much more similar to the Neverglades, is what I meant. As in, it's set in a far-out town full strange happenings and unworldly beings. Which Tales is too, on the surface. But then I think Tales is much more multilayered and it's about way more than just the freak-of-the-week creepy monsters -- unlike the Neverglades, for the most part, in which the monsters are pretty much the soul focus of the story.

I pray you heal fast and well. I’ve heard whiplash can cause long term issues. Believe it or not water does help with pain! Drink a full glass with any pain medication. I thought no way, yet it does help. My rheumatologist explained it to me. Get a body pillow to help you sleep. I’m sure your whole body must be hurting. Just a couple of small tips that I hope will ease your pain.
