Hi Trenlass, Moin, is Tromp actually a DD you could recommend to someone who enjoys Goulden Leuw already and just wants to get a bit more agile, or should one be a DD Expert?
still new with the Tromp but holy hell is it fun to play lol pretty good concealment by modern DD standards, the 12km torps/airstrikes are just busted lol i have it built towards reload and did increase gun range to i think was 15.8 km. having a 48 second airstrike reload and a sub 60 second torp is just dumb but with the other garbage in this game i'll take it! she is a little on the slow side but has decent rudder and i've survived quite a few encounters of being spotted for like 30-40 seconds by radar and being hammered by a des moines by just lightly speed juking and giving a little rudder, she can take a little bit of a pounding but you definitely don't want to flat out engage with gunboats for the most part. great at setting fires and i've had fun burning a few Moskva's to the ground :) you're doing a great job when they call you cancer!
AA is also a lot more effective vs dutch ships as a trade off for not "losing" planes. I've completely wiped out a GL quadruple drop (48 planes, I think thats 4) from a GL div while playing around with AA builds
@@donwanna3906 there's no way it's worse you can always just keep changing course it works the same torps basically. The key problem with CV's isn't the damage they do but the spotting that they provide. Those planes can't do that so it's not inherently overpowered. They only have like 20mm of pen anyways you can heal most of it back and the main thing it does is fire damage. It only has one torp set per side and not very good dpm. Things like Colombo because of high caliber sap, CV's, and subs are OP because they don't follow the same rules as all of the other surface ships in the game either ignoring angling or keeping you spotted without having to risk anything for it.

As a DD fan, I enjoy Tren playing Tromp.

na you can get it to learn dds a bit and its funny to play regardless

Dont understand why ppl hate CV's but then talk about how great and fun the dutch ships with plane are.
pretty easy, one has a limited range and cant spot with planes, while the other can spot and attack on the entire map easy as that
And takes awareness to use.
Tromp is not a CV, it drops bombs like the Gouden at a limited range and frequency.

Is not the same you don't spot with that planes and you need to you are close to use that planes

Same old no skill spamming planes like CVs.
Actually it's very easy to die in this ship if you get focused it takes a ton of damage.
