When I think about that that's just weird. Like hey give this ocelot 20 fish and boom it's fur changes. And you would only get 3 options. I don't even remember the original.

When the old creative mode inventory showed up, I literally GASPED like that menu was my whole childhood
I feel like I didn’t realize I was a vet. I stopped a few years then Picked it back up like I practically had to relearn everything with all the new stuff. I was like.. wow...wow..WOW...wow every couple minutes.

Man as a 2018 player of minecraft i miss the old texture of lava and the old textures of the smerald and diamond blocks, and the old villagers house and i even remember it was super hard to find a village in 2018, the only upgrade that i love is when they removed the glass texture that it was nearly frustraiting to see through, thanks for the nostalgia.

I’ve been playing since at least like 2013, I never played in survival lol I only played in creative in peaceful mode.

Oh my goodness thank you for this nostalgia, it just made me happy. Funny thing ti, I still call the crafting table a workbench, so much so that even my gf calls it that now, and she only started playing somewhat recently.

They do be using aimbot
@@giankosokataktitis It's worse on Bedrock. They basically have a semi-auto bow on Bedrock and you are forced to use a shield otherwise their knockback won't let you get close. Then there's the fact they have Super Aimbot.
A skeleton literally 360 no scoped me today. It jumped off of the roof of my friend’s house and shot me after doing a full 360. I remember when skeletons couldn’t hit anything, especially if you were standing still for some reason.

As an 8 yr old playing the game on 1.5 for the longest time, finding out that in the new 1.7.2 version, sheep dropped food or colored glass existed blew my mind

Remember before caves and cliffs there where amplified world's? Remember when every wood type gave oak planks? Remember on bedrock when you could manually save now it's only auto save. Remember on bedrock superflat you could customize the layers? Remember the tutorial world's? Remember when the ender portal was introduced but did nothing? Remember the old glass texture?
I miss 2012-2013 minecraft so much. the vibes were so good i can't explain it, you just had to be there.

Him reminding us that if we remember some of it, we are a veteran makes me feel like an old school in a good way.
For me, in the Beta versions of Minecraft, finding Diamonds was the key to the end game, which is teleporting to the Nether via Nether Portal.
Finding Diamonds, with at least 3, I was able to craft a Diamond Pickaxe, mine 14 Obsidian and, with an Iron Ingot and a Flint, craft a Flint and Steel, to activate the Nether Portal.
Once I reach the Nether, that was the end game.
Who else remembers when Powered-Rails didn’t need a power source. They just turned on automatically when you placed them. I do.
Oh yeah they dont do that anymore I forgot about that

Who else remember that minecart boosting was a thing when powered rails didn't even exist.
The funiest thing is that even at that time, furnace minecarts where already useless XD

ya'll remember the tutorial world that changed with every update? I remember exploring to see what changed with my sister every update.
Omg, yes! I always wanted to be able to go back to the earlier tutorial worlds because I loved them all.
I remember that in the last world, there was an underwater, ruined version of the previous world, which I was amazed with once I found it

I like the new villages but I would really love it if the old school villages had a small chance to spawn alongside the new ones. The villagers would also have their old outfits! So much memories finding those villages back in the day.

Awesome was the fact that you could get different colouring for the sky by editing textures + Adventure Mode mod was amazing, you could make a custom campaign with dialog boxes, quests, custom npcs etc. + I miss the old griefing, you could literally burn down whole New York with just 1 lit wooden plank + There were so many great mods that never got updated

I made a diamond house once, my sister and I were playing together. She had made her house in a snow biome and I made mine in the desert. She made a cool balcony of ice and I wanted to do it too. So I did. It ended up having my house flooded and me having nightmares for a long time

@@benjaminhamrick8612 Basically on the old versions of Minecraft on android and iOS there wasn’t a Nether, instead they had a block called the nether reactor core that summoned a mini nether biome in the overworld. To activate it I think you had to surround it in gold and iron.

Yes! And the amount of time you held was equivalent to how much of the item it would give you. So if you had a stack of food and only held for half the time, it would give you 32 instead of 64.

I’m actually happy that spam clicking with weapons was removed. It made the game more challenging and fun. Minecraft servers that had gamemodes like PVP and Hunger Games were a lot more fair as well, and the controls that we have today make it a little easier for less experienced players.
Did anyone notice the herobrine skin flicker just when he was talking about his Instagram?

Y’all remember the time when skeletons just didn’t have bad aim and their arrows would actually be shot from their head based area. And if there was a block above them, the arrow would just hit the block instead of you. Thus a 2 block tall house was pretty good...

When I was younger I played Minecraft Pocket Edition, I remember it being it’s own version for Mobile Devices, and I joined in Version 0.8.1, and it was when Minecarts were first added and Powered Rails were always on as a placeholder since Redstone didn’t exist. Since than, Pocket Edition turned into Bedrock.
Bro i've always played mcpe (my PC died quite a few years ago) and this video made me nostalgic af
I was too broke to buy the real thing, but my friend found an app on the playstore that was basically just a crappy old version of mc
The villages had gravel paths, you couldn't ride pigs or horses, there was no commands, the worlds were deafult on that finite mode (that one with the invisible barrier and small world) a lot of blocks were just missing, fishing was very op, you couldn't open chests in creative mode, etc. I remember going fishing and finding saddles (you couldn't get those even in creative) and thinking the players on newer versions dropped them into the river, and the saddle floated all the way to my phone lmfao
Sadly most of those worlds i made are gone now, but i have a lot of memories of doing weird shit and being baffled when i found something new

I remember getting back and fourth form creative to survival to get beetroot for cookies, but not straight up get the cookies I guess I used to had some standard
I remember the old boat, the old cobblestone texture, the fact that creepers would jump-scare you when you walk past one side of a wall while a creeper is on the other side of the wall, the lighting would come in stages when it's getting dark, the rose, the old gravel texture, the fact that players couldn't see what the enchantment table language means in English, the achievements, the fact that mining crafting tables and furnaces, the feature that you can spam-click your sword, the fact that fire would spread insanely fast back then, the feature that you can block with your sword, the fact that caves only had stone and the ores that existed back then, the old lava texture, building diamond houses was a very popular Minecraft trend, the time where the Notch Apple had a crafting recipe, the time where dungeons would generate on the surface, the stars in the old versions of Minecraft, there wasn't a recipe book, the maximum build height of 128 blocks, the fact that animals like a sheep or a cow would jump all over the place, the time where the Crafting Table was called the Workbench, the old crafting recipe for Golden Apples, the village gravel pathways, the fact that you can only place stairs in one type of way, the logo with the orange bold text and the black bold text in the Mojang logos, the fact that it would take your buckets when you craft a cake instead of only taking the milk, the fact that it would pull you down like you were drowning, the fact that the spawners in dungeons would look like it's spawning a pig, the ability to block with your sword, the old splash sound, the time that villages had these budget-looking lamps, the fact that deserts would have a couple of little lakes, the fact that tamed wolves had red collars and that name tags didn't exist back then. I am definitely a Minecraft veteran.
