Somehow I've never read anything from Octavia E. Butler and I really need to fix that!! And I need to carry on with Hobb's books so badly. I've heard a few people say that An Education in Malice was disappointing, don't think I'll be picking that up 😅 I REALLY need to read more from Jemisin after I adored The City We Became! Great tag video, I hope the rest of 2024 goes well for you!
I feel like all the low ratings of education in malice made it work better for me, but I definitely wish the plot had started earlier in the story. -chanting- Gideon! Gideon! Gideon!
If I don't get round to reading Gideon before the end of the year I'm gonna be so disappointed in myself 😭 but I feel autumn will be the perfect motivation!
Fab answers lovely! Vera Wong's Unsolicited Advice for Murderers sounds like such a good read!
Thanks Gem! It was so much fun but also so wholesome 🥺💜
My favourite book so far this year is I Who Have Never Known Men ❤
I have heard such good things about that book!

Thanks Abi! I think you would like Octavia E Butler, I think Kindred or Parable of the Sower are both good places to start with her work 😊
@@GriffReads I'll have to add them to my tbr, thank you!

Biggest disappointment is The City of Stardust by Georgia Summers 💔
