I don't know why people say that Beautiful singers are ugly, but you hear that about all of those with Singing voices. I think in the reverse, that Lovely voice makes them all the more beautiful, not like Holly needed that to enhance Her good looks, she's stunning well before she opens her mouth. Somewhat envious of all that great CA talent, must be nice to go local and see Margo Timmins, Holly, Celine, Rush...

I will not let rest the they kept the police blind to the fact they are protecting three people from prosecution...and tried FIVE times to shut me up by forcing me to sign a "paper" - a company gag order. I did not sign it. The Production Manager said "We have to protect them. They've come so far!"

I never quite understood why Holly didn't become more accepted an popular than she was. Maybe she was a little ahead of her time; or maybe a little behind. No matter, she is a special and unique interpreter of songs.

I love Holly Cole Trio for this song. My Mummy got me tickets to a live show with back stage passes when I was a teen. She was such a lovely woman. I felt so bad because I couldn't stop crying when I met her. I kept telling her how amazing she was and apologizing for crying so much lol.
Seriously, this is one of those remakes that truly elevates an original work to a new level. This version of this song is a masterpiece. The piano solo is incredible. The feeling and overall mood of this song is masterful. I cant say enough about it. One of my favourite songs.
the key change at 3:04 has absolutely given me more courage so many times i can't even begin to verbalize it. amazing.... i originally heard this version of this song during a drag queens performance in jersey....oddly enough. moved me to find it and buy it. have played the cd so many times i've had to replace it....twice! i defy you not to love it.
damn it- what a fantastic piece of art- the song, the singing, the instrumentals, the visual effects- this is priceless ! And Holly isn't to hard to look at, either.
I am no musician in any way-- when i try to sing both cats and dogs run :( but this version Holly you extend words such as blue and bright into intense volumes one can't interpret-- you have exceeded your first cd by bounds :)

Oh my god, the bass in this is fucking incredible. Not to mention the vocals. This song just blew my mind.
