"There is absolutely no point in feeling bad about something you can change."
Wow. Just wow.
cant
I think the quarantine gave to many people bad relationship with food
P.s. your video is so aesthetic!👁️👁️
I agree 100%

True. Today I overeat the next day I am extremely strict. It's hard😊
For sure it made me binge a lot I had to make a video on it
Including me.. :((
i'm currently going through this process of steping away from counting calories because it started to feel overwhelming and i didn't like that. After all this time I know my portions by now so I need so trust in me and knod that I actually know how to eat so when I saw your video it made me really really happy
Exactly where I am at right now...I realized that tracking had become an obsession when my day was spent thinking about food portions and how many calories I was getting in each meals, what macros, all of that. I’m on the right path and I don’t want stress to get in the way of my progression. Even my trainer recommended me to stop tracking for now since I already have a good idea of what to eat by now but it’s hard to stop thinking about it...I notice I’m still doing it every time I eat or prepare a meal...how do you do it?
@@mariadocarmosarmento9487 this is my second week without tracking. The first one was tough, tbh. I started recreating everything that I was already doing previously. This week is going better. I know listen to my real hunger cues and and choose food wisely always trying to balance them by having the 3 macros.
What about you?
Happened to me too and i finally was able to reach out for professional help... best decision i have ever made
@@LizSaci I deleted my tracking app last week but installed it again so it’s been hard...I’m going to try it again and go from here but it’s been hard thinking about eating intuitively because whenever I think about a certain food/ingredient my mind always goes to “how much calories, what macros”, do you get it?! :(
@@mariadocarmosarmento9487 I do. 💕 but we're all here to support each other.
Thanks so much for this type of content!! Its so helpful, hugs from Peru
Yes she inspires me so much as a small creator to be healthy
Nunca espere verlas a ustedes por aquí! Amo su canal y su contenido, ustedes son grandiosas!
What I’ve loved about you since day one is you’re so honest and real. And you use science behind your education which is what is so important and sometimes lacks right now. Thank you so much ❤️
Whenever I see these types of videos it helps me have a better relationship with food too. It lets me know that I am not the only one.
Thank you for inspiring me. I've been wanting to lose weight for so long, it's been hard to find the right workouts and the right diet, mostly because I realized they were good for the people who created them but not necessarily for me. It had to be a workout I enjoy and can do, my style of workout, and that it would work for me. Same thing with the diet: it had to be something that my body needs to reach my goals, something I enjoy, something healthy, and that it would work for me. Just because your diet and exercise routine works for you doesn't mean it works for me, so I had to look up for my own workout style and dieting. Your diet is unique and may not work for me, but it has inspired me to look up what foods I should eat that would be healthy for my body and help me reach my goals. Your workouts are enjoyable and my style, so I am doing those, but my first week was difficult because my legs became very sore and I had to rest for 3 days. I'm getting back at it on Monday, the 16th of February of 2021, so I can keep up with it. Anyway, thank you so much for inspiring me, it's been hard finding this kind of inspiration to get me to commit to a healthy lifestyle. Keep up the good work. PS: Sorry for making this comment so long.
Thanks for sharing your journey! I still struggle a lot with an healthy relationship to food.. As I am working out a lot (6 times a week) I really struggle with feelings of guilt when I do not eat super clean/ "healthy".. Really aware but still really challenging to not overthink my food intake.
I feel that so :( we can do this...
Hey Seher, how you doing now? I’d be happy to help if you fancy? X
update??

Sophie: Starts explaining how to build a good relationship with food
Me: Stares at a silhouette of Loie on the upper left hand corner😂
Your editing and content for this series is freaking stellar.
Hey Sophie, around 4:41 you define good fats a those “not high in unsaturated fats.” I think you meant trans and/or saturated fats bc mono and poly-unsaturated fats are good! 👍🏼
you’re so empowering and strong! love u so much🤍💪🏽
this video is so well edited! also love your approach on the topic, thank you for talking about this 🥰
The only HEALTHY relationship with food is intuitive eating, without thinking and without tracking macros. You just have to be connected with your body and don't do things that work against it
Don’t most people intuitively overeat though? That’s the whole issue that without thinking or tracking, food is too easily accessible for many of us.
@@maeghalanka9020 I think that intuitive eating is listening when your stomach is full or listening to your body cues and being mindful. something learned overtime and I had to go through a bit before it helped me I made a video about it
For intuitive eating to be healthy, first you need to track macros at least for some 2 weeks, to better understand portion sizes and what is what. For someone who does not know nothing about nutrition and eats only what he wants, can end with burgers and chips.
@@danielad-fit1527 If you’re tracking portion sizes, to me that’s not really considered “intuitive” at all then.
Actually no. If someone has over eaten for a long time, the hormones signaling if you're hungry or full are disturbed. If you say to that person to try intuitive eating, it wouldn't make them eat the right amount needed for their body. Also, if someone is obese or overweight and needs to lose weight, the body will try to maintain thus intuitive eating wouldn't work
I could not understand you well because I am not good at English, as I speak Arabic but I find joy in what it has to offer. I hope you do a translation in the future, and I hope you continue💚
I really trust you, and therefor your calculator too! I’ve struggled a lot with figuring out my macros/calories. They numbers have been all over the place from 1,400 calories to 2,400 calories. So thank you, for such a dependable resource.
Keep in mind these are estimates and it depends on how much fat/muscle your body has, as well as how active you are throughout the day (with or without exercising.) the goal of the calculators is to give you a base, and you should look at your body and adjust as necessary 😊😊
This was so helpful and such a pleasure to watch ♥️ the Lofi music, aesthetics and your calming voice just added so much to it
Makes me want to change my eating habits. I'm going to have to get the ultimate beach body now
I felt so safe during the video because sometimes this whole eating and dieting thing on social media just scares me. Thanks so much for sharing your tips❤️
I am just LOVING all of your videos right now! I’m feeling very inspired and excited to get back to the gym to see and feel the results! Thank you so much for sharing your tips and tricks. Much love, girl! 💕
My favorite RUclipsr she helps me so much through my fitness journey 💓
Thanks for helping everyone the way you do so genuinely and authentic!
Here I am a few days after my 14 days juice cleanse hahah. So just the first minute of the minute I was like oh 😐. But I did it because I wanted to give my body a break and because I love it. And it helped me to think about food as a fuel and not to make my body a trash can cuz I was eating too much sugar. Hopefully I’ll stay in my health no sugar way ☺️
Like Warren Buffet says (the name will not say much to many) "investment is easy, like being on a diet it just requires consistency, but how many people are consistent". This is the same.. Will and consistency is the key. In any case, you look great.
this is the best video EVER!!! love how this is such real and raw video on how simple is best....don't fall for the fads!
my eating disorder and my excessive exercise addiction have gotten even worse ugh bc I can have control over certain things and it gives me a reason to be structured or wake up every day and a place where I can prove something. … I want to recover I want to get healthy again because I know my body is suffering and pushing yourself in an unhealthy way is very bad but I’m just so scared of change and 1. don’t know how to get rid of this mindset, 2. stop restricting and eating more, 3. gain weight again and start a healthy routine with exercise.. right now I still FORCE myself to exercise for hours and work out two times a day so basically punish my body and I wouldn’t say that I don’t enjoy exercising anymore but it’s like a chore and a way to measure my success and self worth. I know it’s more about your mindset and that skinny is not always a good thing and that you should love and treat your body right.
I want to recover- eat freely and enjoy food but only in a healthy way. I never really crave food or can feel my appetite because I’m so used to eating little and it’s so hard for me to eat more in order to gain weight. I know life should be so much more but it’s so hard during covid times because exercise makes me feel accomplished and more worthy.. it’s become such a big part of my life and my identity and it’s a place where I can prove something to myself. unfortunately my mindset tells me that I need to earn or make up for eating, and measure out everything like even fruit ( ugh ridiculous i know ) and push myself to my limit when exercising. I tried reducing the amount of exercise but I feel worthless and like a failure afterwards. I keep telling myself that food is fuel and you need to get better and not restict and that change in my case is a good thing and that being very skinny is so bad and you shouldn’t define your worth on exercise or food. recover takes time though ://///
That intro was insane 😍🙌
Such amazing advice as always 💕
never clicked faster on a video, there is no better time for this! really needed it
I love the editing, the content, your personality... I only discovered you right now, but I love your channel! +1 follower ;)
Am currently on my weight loss journey but l struggle with labelling food as good or bad but thank you for this video it has helped me a lot
Living for this series!! You’ve inspired me so much
Are u living in Spain at the moment??
Thank you so much for this! I did your workout today and it was amazing. It is so important to bring light to a healthy relationship with food!
you're so strong. i'm proud of u
Loved this video! Love the simplicity about this.
Sofi, te sigo desde Instagram y has sido una inspiración muy grande para mí. He logrado grandes cambios siguiendo tu cuenta. Me encantaría que crearas contenidos en español aquí y en Instagram. Besos desde México.
I really enjoyed this video. So wholesome, real and inspiring ❤️
Love this. Love you! Beautiful video Vick! Keep going xx
Sophie, thank you so much to share these tips with us. It is always a pleasure to ear you 😘
Thank you for your video Sophie. I’m glad these videos help others, but i wanted to add, if anybody is struggling with an eating disorder, please seek help. Everybody’s fitness journey looks different, and it’s ok to get derailed in progress.
thanks for posting this! i love watching your videos
I love this content! And I love your voice! ❤️
That bunny hop at 5:53 cracked me up🤣🤣🤣 great video!
You've changed my life! Lol! I'm so grateful to find you 💛
Love this video so so much! and these are the three things I'm trying to follow too - love how I thrive off a wholesome colorful diet xx
Oh man that turkey salad looked so bomb definitely going to be giving that a try ♥️
Impressive. May you make a video about your fitness journey. How you get so fit & how you trained then and now. That would be very interesting to me
I needed this. A lot. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Sophie ❤️
love you girl❤️
Love your videos and your approach to food!
my life trying to navigate Spanish supermarkets and products😂😂😂
I LOVED this video, very excited to see more of these!
love your content, my only concern is that you may have used yeast instead of cornstarch in the sauce you prepared for dinner. other than that, i enjoy so much your videos of what I eat because it shows a lot of flexibility but still being healthy
I noticed that too. The package said 'levadura', which is yeast and it also looked like yeast. Cornstarch is usually white.
That all looks so yummy! Thank you for promoting a healthier approach to food.
Omg where did you get your sweater and sweat pants that you were wearing in the beginning of the video ?🥰
Beautiful video
Your dog is soooo cute! 😍
Love you videos!! Could you make a video about how you started a career in fitness, did you go to school for this, etc.!!
you are an amazing person and such an inspiration. Thank you!
Thank you, really like your content and the fact you are so kind and honest with us! :')
I love this upload!!! Thank you :)
You are the BEST! Through you I have food flexibility! Thank you❤️❤️
You are such an inspiration
I’m late, but this video is everything !
I loved watching this video 🤩🤩
1:42 Louie whatchu got there lol
Are you still doing intermittent fasting?
Love your content this was super helpful compared to all the complicated stuff in the media ✨
Also what air fryer do you have? Then chips looks unreal 😍
Subscribe earned with this one. Love the message
I loved that you had no idea what your dog was doing in the background 😅
Hi just so you know unsaturated fats are considered “healthy fats” because they are liquid at room temperature. Saturated fats are considered “unhealthy fats” because they are solid at room temp and therefore more likely to contribute to cardiovascular disease
Thank you very much 🙏
You're so inspireing for me. I love your videos. Greetings from Germany!
I love your 24 shredded challenge so much do you will upload a new challenge? I love your workouts so much !!!🥰❣️
Your videos always relax me, and at the same time I feel hyped up by you :) it feels like I’m talking to a friend instead of watching a video. Thanks so much for your insight!
🤩🤩loved this video
Posted my own journey with eating and INTUITIVE EATING on my channel yesterday actually... I very much agree with you Sophie! Thank you for sharing ❤️
In your calculator, what is considered “exercise” 1-2 days per week? Running/weighilifting or just moving around all day and having high step count (10 k)?
Hey, I'm from Spain just wanted to tell you in case you didnt know that the cornstarch you're using isn't cornstarch it's dried yeast. You want to look for a big package from the same brand (the brand is called Maizena hence why you confused it I think) that says Harina de Maiz/Almidón de Maiz or Maicena. Fantastic video though I'm right now trying to body recomp and it feels that I can't lose a pound...but I feel better and I think I look better....don't know if it's only my imagination but I'm going to focus on the positive and continue crushing my nutrition and my gym sessions
Do you have exact measurements for the sauce you used for the turkey salad recipe? And for the fries, how did you make them look so perfect, were they store bought? If so, what brand did you buy? Love your videos, can not wait for more!!
Loved this video! Could you film more follow along workouts, too, please? :)
But why does the coffee cup say Victoria? 🤔
I was wondering the same! Maybe she has two names? Sophie Victoria? 🤷🏼♀️
Not everyone likes giving their real names when buying coffee. I do the same 😊🤍
Thank you for doing this kind of video. That’s really important. Hugs from Germany
calorie surploo still kills me 😂
Can you please do a video of what you would eat if you were vegan 🌱
Love your videos. I wish that you would post your oatmeal recipe here. El corte ingles is one of my favorite stores in Madrid.
I think that everybody should track macros and calories at first just to reach a certain level of knowledge; then you should probably transition to intuitive eating and live your life ☺️
did you know that black pepper helps with fitilijo?
such a calming cute voice 🥺
how i wish this video would have existed before I made some of the mistakes you mentioned...
I will try this thanks for the info😘
You Schould try adding zur pro teil Pfeffer to your oats. Add a Bit salt ans cinnamon an it tastes soo good
You know I could listen to that tape recorder you just talked to
Amazing potatoes for dinner, how did you made them?? Thank you, you are inspirational ❤️
I hope that YOUR calories calculator will be good cause I tried lots of but they were inadapted ...
No one realised that you were using yeast instead of corn starch for the sauce? Hope it didn't upset your stomach
GAL
Thank thank thank you
This Dog at 09:10 :D
I love this
Love you and your video
I need 2500 cals a day to maintain my weight and I'm 5'2 and 105 lb and I only do low impact exercises like pilates and weight training . I lose weight when I hit 2200
Hey you said you stay away from high amounts of unsaturated fats because it causes bad cholesterol. Unsaturated is good far you need to stay way from saturated fats ....
