Hello. I have had the seed unscrambler on btc recover working for months but it just started not working. Instead of taking 6 hours like normal in automatically says no seed found. Any help?
Sounds like you have an invalid BIP39 word in your tokenlist
Hi I was using trustwallet and my phone got formatted and do not have seed phrase anymore, can we import file without 12 word seed phrase?
Which file? Unless you have a complete phone backup from when the wallet worked, you have caused an unrecoverable loss.
I'm sorry for your loss.
Hi, I don't suppose you can help with funds stuck on the failed multichain bridge? Like thousands of dollars worth...?
Depends what you did to get them stuck
hi, tell me, is this method relevant, I can’t copy json wallet 3:03 instead of post get
Yep, still works. (The JSON might be in one of the other responses)
What command do I put in for BTCRecovery if I just want to dump Multibit key file but I have 5 possible passwords and want to also run typo/caps basically all combos and if found dump to txt
Just the standard commands for password recovery (same as demonstrated in this video) and also add the argument to dump the privkeys as per here btcrecover.readthedocs.io/en/latest/Decrypting_dumping_walletfiles/
Bro, so i just got a trezor moved all my funds to 2 wallets from what i thought was the passphrase i used and i guess i must have had a typo. Its brand new and the only transactions were put there until i sent 1 unit into a wallet of what i thought my passphrase was because i thought it was just a Metamask error and im coming to the conclusion that its just a passphrase error. I am wondering if its still possible to recover i have all the mnuemonic phrases and the trezor is brand new i just sent the funds to this passphrase wallet that i cannot seem to figure out. Over 6000 password attempts so far and i just cannot for the life of me figure out what the error is. This is making me think that there is a chance to figure this out with a token list. Is that correct?
If you have a pretty good idea what it should be then a tokenlist plus some typo arguments should pick it up.
@@CryptoGuide what if i maybe thought i had a seperate window open and clicked random keys on my keyboard thinking it was something completely different? I am about to send my stuff to a hacking group before i do that though i want to make sure i have done everything i can to figure it out myself but given that i have tried thousands of passwords i have no idea what to do anymore

a Gnosis Safe wallets seed recover on eth does that work or do you need a extra file?
Is it just a standard single Sig wallet or multisig?
how long does the process takes, mine is now 2 hours and its still running
This depends entirely on your tokenlist, passwordlist, etc. It should give you an estimate as to how long your given attempt will take.
I can’t remember my password or 12 word phase.
Blockchain does accept my email address and my wallet address comes up.
Basically your only option is to work out what the password is, whether by manually guessing or using something like BTCRecover. (Which still requires that you have a decent idea what the password might be)
hi, trying to get some help, cant get open cl working on a xeon cpu station , with 3 gpus which are all recognized by nvidia drivers at x16 x16 x8. says no gpu found and no open cl. everything is is working. python 3.9 opencl 1.26

When i try to get the response , it displays : request error .
So when you try and log in, can you get as far as your browser telling you that your password is wrong?
Friends, I have lost second password for my wallet in blockchain.. any solution.
Well you will need to work out what it was, where in the process of this video are you getting stuck?
@@CryptoGuide I didn't watch the video. I asked my question directly. I will try to watch the video and follow the steps, perhaps there will be a solution,,, Thank you.
This video is the solution...
Hello sir, I lost my password and 12 phrase in blockchain wallet. Any solution to recover it ?
How many of the words do you have?
Sir I forget password and pharse both so any solution of this problem
BTCRecover is the solution, but you will still need to have a pretty good idea what the password might be.
I dont understand sir...cqn i recover my password and 12 words phrase..funda bach air
If you have a decent idea about what your password might be then yes.

Hi! When trying to download wallet file JSON, I keep getting this error: {"success": false, "error": "Internal Server Error"} Happens with all browsers. Have tried on multiple occasions - no luck. Thanks.
Sounds like their server is having issues, I'm guessing it doesn't give you a message that the password is incorrect either?
@@CryptoGuide Hi, Exactly the same problem. In my case...I get information that my password is incorrect.
.
so i have the email but for the life of me i lost the recovery phrase would this method help me find back the main password?
If you have some idea of what it might be
will this work if i don’t remember the password at all?
If you have no idea at all then it's very unlikely that you can recover. (Though you could try other passwords that you commonly use)
Is it at all possible to recover phrases for my yoroi wallet if the ada is in a staking pool? I know the delegation is from the wallet but was wondering if because it's been staked, there was another way to recover the phrases. Thanks
The staking makes no difference. How many seed words do you have?
@@CryptoGuide zero
Yea if you have zero words then your only chance is if you still have the wallet extension installed and recover the password for it.
I have tryed with a personal wallet and it didn´t work. Never appeared me in Firefox the POST message but if appeared me a GET message with the payload with the version and the iterations (5000).
I put the correct wallet id, after that authorize the firefox browser and then i wrote a random password. Then only i found a GET request with a payload and other information like extra seed hash, seed checksum, etc.
That wallet only have the main password. What´s wrong? Perhaps Blockchain solved that problem? Thank you and congratulations yours videos are amazings.
The wallet files will look like one of the samples here
github.com/3rdIteration/btcrecover/tree/master/btcrecover/test/test-wallets
Depending on the age of the wallet, it might be a slightly different format. (Though it will still be like one of the blockchain wallet samples in the BTCRecover repository)
@@CryptoGuide the versión 3.0
@@CryptoGuide with the extra script download blockchain worked good but i a understand that blockchain has closed that possibility.
That's right, but the wallet file is still downloaded to your browser in the same way.
Note I have wallet link only
No password no email no private key
How can I recover my old wallet? Created More than 11 years ago
What do you mean wallet link? Do you mean the wallet ID that you use to log in? (Not the wallet address)
@@CryptoGuide I mean wallet address
If that's all you have then you have nothing and this is unrecoverable. Anyone who tells you otherwise is a scammer.
Hi thanks for this tutorial. question - how do i generate the token list file path?
It's just the path to your tokenlist file. If you are in Windows 11, you can just right click on it and select "copy as path"
How do we know that you wouldn’t sweep the funds, if someone were to use your service?
Thanks for uploading this
If you go with a normal consultation then you don't share any wallet data.
If you go with a trusted service then you are trusting that I will do the right thing. You can review the business registration, I can share things like on-chain data for a sample of previous recoveries, or you can look at reputation based stuff like trust pilot or my other comments on other social platforms dating back a few years, etc, but at the end of the day, the trusted service is a trusted service :)
Hello. i tried but the wallet doesn't appear on the web developer tools, what can i do? Thanks
Your browser has probably cached it, just try with a different browser.
@@CryptoGuide I can't see it either, I just installed it
The process hasn't changed, perhaps just try on another PC.
so i have two questions :
how can i stop the program from trying tokens with repetitive characters?
the other question is what command should i use so the program saves generated passwords to a txt file? i used this command before but know i don't remember the command.
thanks for your help.
So what are you actually attempting to do? So you have any idea what the password might be?
So i have a format in my mind which im not sure if it's the correct one.so what i want to do is use all possible 16 characters that i think make the password and try all of them in all 16 slots( i believe my password is 16 characters).but im sure there is no duplicate characters beside each other.so i want btcrecover not to try repetitive characters
So are you saying that your are attempting to brute-force a random 16 character password?
@@CryptoGuide it's not actually random i gathered all characters that i think might be in the password and i want to use them as a 16 character password but i dont want it to test similar characters in tokenlist
The tokenlist will only include one token per row from the tokenlist.
Basically you can just anchor the parts that you know are correct and leave the rest without anchors.
Hi do you have videos and commands for using 2 or more devices at the same time?
Yea it's covered in my multi GPU cloud recovery video
@@CryptoGuide I will look for it thank you. Do the devices have to have a GPU to use that function? Mine do not.
Nope, works fine with CPU too
Hello. Please tell me, I want to restore my Blokchain wallet v1, what is the minimum length of the password, how many minimum characters did Blokchain require when registering in those years?
Which years?
@@CryptoGuide 2014
Best bet is to use web.archive.org and have a look at blockchain.info. That said, it will also depend on what software you used to create the wallet, as the wallet versions were a mess.
thank you very much, you are a very kind person😊
.
Hello i dont remember 12 phrase and parol can i recover please tell me🙏🙏
If you don't have your 12 words your only option is to work out what your password was. (Using something like BTCRecover, but you will still need a pretty good idea what it might have been)
Hey there, whenever i try to "import wallet" on the ronin extension using the SRP (Secret Recovery Phrase) it sends me to a whole new account with no assets nor money.
I have all the 12 words in the correct order because i've done this before with the said phrase, but this time, it just opens a new account instead of mine.
Do you have any solutions for this? It happened on April, 29, right after one of the maintenance updates.
So does it give you the same address?
@@CryptoGuide No it doesn't, it sends me to a completely new wallet with no transactions or assets.
And I have the transactions log I made from binance to ronin, to know my actual address and they don't match.
Then you either have the wrong seed or are using something other than the first account. (You will likely find that importing the seed into another instance of Ronin will show the same behavior)
@@CryptoGuide I even used btc recover to check for misplaced words, came out empty handed. I only have one seed phrase and one ronin account, could it be that the ronin system gave me a totally random phrase?
No, sounds like you mixed your backups up. I'm guessing you no longer have access to the original wallet?
I do not have 2 FA setup - and I do not get Wallet detains in my browser.
Then you are messing up the process
same here@@CryptoGuide
Same response
If two word pairs of the seed are mixed up, is it possible to find out the correct seed again? For xample: I have 24 words and changed positions from word 3 with word 6 and word 12 changed position wirh word 15.
BTCRecover doesn't currently support this in a simple way, but it would be straightforward to add and a very simple recovery once the feature was added. (So you could either sponsor it or code it and bring a PR)
@@CryptoGuide i also have no public address anymore. makes it impossible, right?
It depends on which coin/chain you were using. (You may be able to simply use an address database)
@@CryptoGuide As far as I know, a ledger was used and Bitcoin and possibly Ethereum are on it. Unfortunately, the person no longer knows exactly. She has the 24 words and knows that she mixed up 1 or 2 pairs of words. She doesn't remember which ones. Unfortunately, she no longer knows any addresses either. Only info: The 24 words and these are in the wrong order.
If it's just Bitcoin and/or Eth then it's straightforward to use an address database. Sounds like a straightforward recovery overall.
My support question comments keep getting deleted automatically?
even if I add them as a reply.
RUclips probably thinks you are posting a URL or something that looks like spam.
@@CryptoGuide possibly the way I referenced the blockchain website I got the info from? Ive sent you tyhe text through another channel
The error message means what it says, that wallet doesn't support opencl acceleration... There are many different versions of blockchain.com wallets, some benefit from GPU acceleration and others don't.
@CryptoGuide I'm going to start keeping a database of what getting through and what's being deleted. :o thanks for that - I was worried it was some strange bug of early wallets like or related to 00 etc. Would you expect increasing typos # to slow down the rate of checking (leaving aside the increased number of combinations). typos 5 54604576 rate: 10.50 kP/s, typos 6 rate: 5.18 kP/s typos 7 rate: 992.56 P/s (so far) - its a reduced set of leet subs on avg 35 char phrases.
i tried with widows but i cant see wallet
Which browser are you using? If you can't find it, try a different browser, as your system may have already cached the wallet file and not need to redownload it.
How large of a password list can BTCRecover handle? I believe I have a 2GB pwl file, but it would not work with it. I had to split the list into smaller .txt files, but I'm not sure if that's because the PC I was using lacked RAM or CPU power, or if it was just a limitation of BTCRecover.
There isn't a limit, just be sure to add the --no-dupchecks argument otherwise you will run out of RAM (I have fed 10GB+ lists into it when no problem)
@@CryptoGuide that's super exciting news to hear! I will retry again then! My wallet.aes.json is from 2013, so I assume that makes it a Blockchain V1 type wallet. There is nothing else that I need to do besides crack the pw, correct? No need to decrypt anything?
If you still have the wallet ID then you can just log in with the password, but if it's a large amount, you can also use BTCRecover to decrypt/dump the wallet file and then just use the private keys directly in something like Electrum.
@@CryptoGuide I do still have the wallet ID. I just cannot figure out the password, and that is highly unusual. All others I recovered were done so manually. I'll let you know how this weekend turns out.
Best of luck

i cant find the wallet file
The JSON will be in the data coming back from their server when you look at the network page under the developer tools.
@@CryptoGuide i see the JSON file but cant find the wallet file to locate the payload info. the only JSON file i see if 'wallet-option-v4-json'.
I just double checked and it still works exactly the same. Basically you will see it in one of the "wallet" responses.
I restored my old wallet (2014) with btcrecover,
but the keys section looks like this:
keys:
addr:addr1,
priv: priv1,
created_time: 0,
created_device_name: javascript_web,
created_device_version: 1.0,
addr:addr2,
addr:addr3,
addr:addr4,
addr:addr5
that is, addresses 2 to 5 without keys.
Does this mean that there really are no keys there (addresses watch only)?
Or is this an incorrect decoding?
Looks like it's watch only for those addresses.
Bro can you help me restoring my wallet as well?
Where in the process are you getting stuck?
Hi Sir, how do retrieve my recovery passwords

@@CryptoGuide I followed all your steps but the file doesn't appear, can you try now to see if it still works?
It still works... I just checked a week ago...
We are experiencing the same problem: there is no "wallet" file. There are "wallet-options-v4j" json files but these are using the GET method - there are no files using the word "wallet" tagged with the POST method.
Steps for replication:
Installed Firefox
Went to Blockchain site.
Attempted to login using wallet-id.
Input password.
Underwent device authentication - no 2-factor authentication.
"Wrong password" response returned.
There is no "wallet" file in web developer tools (network).
Ordered the files alphabetically - definitely not present.
Tried password input again (a few times), still no "wallet" file.
Viewing these steps, perhaps you can advise if we have missed a step, somehow?
Troubleshooting steps taken so far.
1 - tried three different computers - same result.
2 - tried logging in with email instead of wallet-id:
"wallet" file returned but "response" only contains "success": false, "error": "internal server error".
3 - tried again with the wallet-id - no "wallet" file.
4 - Looked at another of your videos about a bug in the encryption length. Could the presence of this error be why the "wallet" file is not being returned at all? We did not change the password from what we have written down, it was working fine then just stopped working and has not worked since. When we reviewed the video about the bug, it was unclear (to us) where some of the information came from so we were not sure how to follow your instructions. Have you posted a video which is a little more "step-by-step" for dealing with this bug?
I'm sorry if this is a duplicate - the message has been posted twice so far but just disappears from the comments when the page is refreshed. Not sure if this is because it is somehow being deleted by RUclips or is pending your review before being posted so I'm re-posting it. This time I'll save it in a file to avoid typing it out from scratch if it needs editing and re-posting (again)!
Thanks in advance for any help you are able to give us.
Regards - J
