Albert City Threshermen and Collector Show

Joe visits Albert City, Iowa for their annual threshermen show where people from all over the country to to see vintage farm tractors, horse drawn farm equipment, crafts people using the old tools and methods and much more.
We listen as originators Arlyn Youngberg and Karl Lind tell us of the history of the show. It began in 1970 with the goal to recreate the activities and show the equipment of long ago to the children in the area. It has grown immensely. They encourage collecting, restoring, displaying and demonstrating activities and vintage agricultural equipment. Anyone can bring their equipment to the show for display.
