When will the XCover 7 be available in the USA? Sold by US carriers or available on Samsung's US website? Samsung refuses to provide any information about its future availability.
@@MorieldeCaelum I guess I'll wait for the XCover 8 pro then. Even if I could buy an international version of the XCover 7, I'm not sure it has all the bands needed to use in the US.
Samsung has proven they can't make rugged phones, they all break easy, screen problems or cracking/breaking, ip68 but if water damaged warranty not honoured, and this new xcover 7, the specs are garbage for a rugged phone in 2024 and like all the xcover and active phoned before it is way overpriced for what you get and the fact it probably won't last long before problems happened, Samsung needs new a new team of people who have actual knowledge of how a rugged phone is made, one of my phones is a six year old Sonim XP8 that has been dropped from high heights - ran over be 18 wheeler - under water on a regular basis and still works like new, every Samsung I've had has had early problems with no abuse
Bullshit, got an xcover 5 for a few years. The phone whitstanded HEAVY abuse and has fallen down on concrete or rocks, got totally wet many times. And still it works and looks like new
Your information is wrong. You are showing the video image of xcover6 pro. You have to inform users accurately. The difference in appearance is that there is no top button and finger printer.
Samsung hypocrisy when are in USA sell 6nm chip phone for 399CHF or 500 EUR shame on you, and don t get any phone with 778G, take us hall year, A52s never again Samsung.
Yes, XCover 7 is a cheaper Xcover 6 Pro, with minor changes. Good they kept battery compatibility. Nice, especially when ordering a lot of them in companies, retail, etc, then companies can save quite a lot of money, and get basically the same performance. But if you want better performance, you will still need to wait. I have XCover Pro ("5"), and I am not sure this is good upgrade for me (yes, both 6 and 7 would be an upgrade, but not that huge). All of them are very well built, and I like the robustness (dropped it on concrete many many times, zero problems. same with dust, water, etc), battery, buttons, etc. The main camera (in "5") is so so, as is screen contrast, and slowdown in low power mode, but otherwise it works nice, has good size, and I like it. I hoped 7 will have a bit better CPU, and upgrade without thinking. I hope they will make XCover 7 Pro, that would actually be real upgrade.
I am quite dissapointed, that 7 is actually worse than 6. I am haveing 6 right now. All good except phone is to big. One hand operations are mostly impossible and I have over average size hands. 7 has basically same dimensions and without wide camera. Nah, I will pass this.
The xcover -serie is a good idea, but maybe they could bring down the size a bit. Not just better to handle, but I would then use less battery also. Samsung, are you listening?
They are few and far and very plain. Mine is just black. They sell 3 other colors too and a clear silicone case on amazon. Thats all as of the time of me typing.
@@GeTtHeDoG1883 when your city has lot of criminals, and you dont want they take it from your hand and run quick, specially in a subway, becuase they might do it just before the door closes and you get stuck in. Hi people ! Do not take the risk of buying this phone ! It is a piece of crap ! Me and my wife bought two Galaxy XCover7 and a spare battery each, and when we went to the Austria Alps surprise : we both had only one-two lines of signal and no signal at all , and when we tried to video call our mothers we had problems too because the front camera is very weak. We will return them and then we'll wait for the Samsung Galaxy A55 5G to be released and buy two of those. My respects @TechAvid . Daniel(Cubase Sound Engineer)
Can you please tell me, when you open the back cover - is there an U.FL small connector near the SIM slot ? Older Galaxy phone had these, and you could connect an external antenna to them (theoretically, I don't know anyone who did it). If you look in XCover6 Pro videos, the U.FL connectors are still present.
Chuck Norris of rugged phones…
Come on 😅
Anyway, that phone is worse than previous generation :-/
In all fairness, once you learn more about Chuck Norris, it makes sense as to why that's a fitting comparison, LOL. 😝

Probably won't. Just bought an unlocked one from UK waiting for it to be delivered

Waching this on an xcover 4😂

how is it holding up? I got 6 pro

@visgalis9626 now we can wait an extra year for the next xcover to come out
Bought one for my dad today it cost 600 dollars here NZ

Loving the XCover 7's design! Looks tough enough to survive anything, and the Dimensity 6100+ chip sounds promising for everyday tasks.
The display is surprisingly clear! Crisp visuals for documents and even watching videos on my break and the mediatek chip is quite capable.
It would be better if the screen supported 90Hz and the screen from 6.6 to 6.7 and the battery was 5,000mAh.😒
It would be better if it was made of gold and came with a free Louis Vuitton handbag.
Can't always have exactly what you want.
Woman firefighter.
Great phone
Wondering if the Dimensity 6100+ in the XCover 7 can handle some light gaming and multitasking...
Bought one and my usb port shows small signs of oxydisation after 6 months and i therefore cannot charge it anymore
Maybe your usb plug got bent? If the problem really is oxidation, there is a product called DeoxIT.
Why no support for WIFI 6e? Why is the CPU weaker?
cpu is according to the need of the phone features. Dimensity should perform very good in this phone.
I wonder what phone cases will be available for it?

Dual sim but where is the slots?
If you watched the video, you would have seen they are next to the battery, when you open the back cover. 2:11
and no hole for a strap, again. Samsung is getting worst instead of better.
get a case with one

This phone is seriously impressive! The combination of dimensity 6100+ and a 50mp camera makes it a great all-rounder
