Hey, nice to see you. Thanks, i'm really glad i was ready to capture the moment, who knows how long it will take for another sighting of this magnitude. Greetings from Finland💛
That opening with the sky all lit up was awesome and the area you were walking around it was also really awesome as well and wow it was a walk to remember, take care and until next time Thank You my friend Sevy🇫🇮Kiitos🇫🇮:)
Hi Sevy hope you are well, thank you so much for this amazing video. You are so lucky to have witnessed one of natures most beautiful events. It was outstanding, i would love to see it for myself. Take care and I'll be watching your new scene tonight. Best wishes and have a lovely weekend. Diane ♥️
Hey Diane, so nice to see you. You should have seen the grin on my face while filming, the lights were all around me, at that moment i wished i had more camera's because i couldn't film everything at once. I'm really lucky it happened on Friday night, otherwise i would definitely have missed it. Thank you. Spring is now in full swing. Enjoy 👌👋
Great job, Sevy! Amazing footage... I wasn't able to see any of it over here in the state of Nebraska in the USA so your video is greatly appreciated. Nice X Files theme music addition, too! Lol
Hey Sara, i would say that the Northern Lights are possible on average 3 to 5 times a month for southern Finland, BUT it is usually a faint color towards the northern sky. What has happened now was measured to have happened only once in the last 20 years. The light was directly above us and even clearly visible towards the SOUTHERN sky (the sun was setting in the northern sky, leaving too much light to see the colors). Thank you and see in the next scene 💛
Absolutely stunning work! Saw it here too for the first time(UK) though this far south it was barely visible to the naked eye, but showed on camera, though sadly not video. Thanks for sharing.
Good evening, thank you, i am happy to hear and yes i also read that it was clearly visible in the south of Europe. These kind of sightings are so extremely rare.
Very beautiful Sevy!! Thank you for sharing this amazing phenomenon. I was wondering if theres anything in Finnish mythology that mentions the Aurora and what their explanation was. Again an amazing video.. one day I hope to see it for myself. 🙏🇫🇮
Good to see you Hette, thank you, so glad i decided to go outside and wait for it, no one would have believed me. The Finnish word is Revontuli, and in Finnish lore it is a translation of "Fox Fires", caused by a fox running so fast across the snow that its tail sparks flames up into the sky.
No god needed for this, friend. It's physics, quite well understood, not mysterious. It is incredibly beautiful though, and can produce a feeling of awe in anyone with a beating heart in their chest.
This truly looks like you traveled to another planet, a place of peaceful dreams. SO FABULOUS to see this on my TV screen that I watched it twice through!! The British term "gobsmacked" came to mind. I looked up the definition: astounded, utterly amazed. 💜🩷💙 You must have felt like the LUCKIEST guy on the planet....wait, WERE you still on this planet?!! What came to mind at the end was the film, Close Encounters of The Third Kind. Otherworldly. 💜
Hey Robin, hope all is well. I honestly felt like the happiest person, you should have seen the grin on my face. It really felt like i was dropped into a science fiction movie, the strong wind also added to the effect. I think i only have one other Northern Lights video on the channel, but this one will be hard to beat i'm sure. That movie must be the only one i'd never heard of that was directed by Steven Spielberg?! Thanks for the tip Take care and see you in the next scene 👋🙏
@ScenesBySevy Hey, Sevy! 👋 Close Encounters (1977) was filmed at Devil's Tower National Monument in the state of Wyoming. In the film, there are people who are inexorably drawn to this site. I can imagine myself staying out there all night and then talking about it all the next day!!
Beautiful Finland. Thanks for sharing your walk. Like 226. Your newest sub❤️🙏

Thank you Sevy for these amazing videos of the Aurora Borealis. Do you see the Northern Lights on a regular basis?

It's lightning and Thunder right now...
That's true and in Finland it is sunny and warm for weeks 😅
Very truly exciting and beautiful, Sevy. What is name this place in Finland, Which City?
Hello Tuan, thank you. This is filmed in Rantamo Tuusula.
