The Sims 4 does not make historical gameplay easy, but with a few mods and settings tweaks, you can really immerse yourself in the past in the Sims 4. This is not an exhaustive list and is no particular order. These are not time-period specific and are the general mods I use in my historical playthroughs, mostly regardless of time-period. If you do not know how to install mods, please look for a tutorial before trying. Below are the links to all of the mods mentioned in the video; as of posting this video, all mods below are available to the public for free. Ahhh I miss the Olde Cookbook! It basically became unusable after one of the last updates. I hope it gets updated soon.
I am still using it because I don't know how I'd play without it, lol. It does throw last exceptions but nothing game breaking. Unless one of the most recent updates broke it.
I love the toy mod and like all of them cos I don’t leave the 19th century in my sims world so Iv benn playing in the same time period for ages with different generations so through all 100 years. I really recommend thees mods I got a few new ones from the video Tysm!
I dont know uf anyone else had this weird issue with the royalty mod, but everytime the tax collector come, i pay the tax then he tries to leave....mcc pops up with an error then he just diesnt leave, thenwhen i make him leave there is now another copy of the same tax collector and then he comes by demanded for taxes...and its a cycle that goes on and on.😢😢😢
Is the cookbook mod still working? On their patreon it said something up the mod being updated.
I am still using it for two of my playthroughs and it works, but last I knew, it was outdated. If they are updating it, that would be great.
@@Chic87Sims the patreon says it's not abandoned, so we should be seeing an update soon, fingers crossed.

i dont understand how to begin the ultimate decades challenge, is it a override? is it a download? if so i cant find it anywhere and im just a little confused.

No worries! Your English is fine. The mod seems to be working fine for me in both of my saves. Is the sign post at least working? Is anything on the menu appearing when you click on it? I am not sure what could be going on with it. It's an older mod that hasn't had an update in a while.
