this is the first mod ill actually pay for, ive been wanting a ballet mod forever
very cool! I used to use the archery mod by the same creator. The thing I love about how they mod the game is that they always add so much. Usually a skill, a career, animations and an object. It's a very well-rounded way to create mods. I adore!
As a ballet nerd this mod makes me so happy! I love that your sims can perform real life variations, I recognised the Giselle and Odile ones instantly! My only criticism is that the feet are turned in when they point their feet forward in some of the animations, but that's not the worst thing in the world
yea, animations for sims 4 will always have some limitations but they look sooo good overall imo
@simgraze totally, even despite the limitations you can tell the person who made this mod really did their research!
This is making me think of the Barbie films so much! It reminds me of how they animated the ballet in those films, especially the beginning of the Nutcracker!
I really wish the Sims-Team would add hobbies and Ballet would be a part of it. It could be a gamepack - even tho I'm convinced a EP would be even better (they could add a couple of more hobbies, we need it) However, I'm amazed as I have a sim who I have in mind for this mod. I used to dance ballet for over 10 years. Let me tell you, I was hoping since 2015 for someone to add a mod. I'll take it, lol. This mod will be added for sure for my story and joy! 😍 Thank you for this vid.

omg ive been needing an active ballet mod/career so bad this is perfect!! i mean there's already some animations you can download and the ballet barre mod? but it's not as cool as this one
yess like i love that w this mod it all works together and gains skill, versus regular animations where u don’t gain skill/progress you’re already just perfect at it
We need a full on dance mod, you can join groups and pick what kind of dancer you want to be hip hop contemporary etc, and then you can perform routines with your group or practice them and then go to rabbit hole competitions or you can hold event that would be like dance shows and you and your group can perform together and do duets and solos too ughhh id love it

yes! everything will still be totally functional without it, however u can only create an actual club if you have get together.

May I ask you what it is XML INJECTOR ? Because I don't know what it is and I'm hesitant about downloading it . Can you explain it to me ?
to my understanding, the mod itself doesn’t do anything but allows modders to more easily make their mods. they don’t have to do as much coding/scripting, so it is easier for them to use it. it just works in the background to support a variety of mods and many mods require it because it’s for their coding. i’ve had it in my game for forever without any issues

as far as i know, no. i could be wrong but i have both in my game right now and haven’t had any issues but I haven’t really been playing with the mercuryfoam one in my testing

hi i actually haven’t put it up for download bc i’m not totally happy with it, but I have another studio on my gallery. one has cc and includes the items from this mod and one has no cc and you can add the items in yourself
does npc sims autonomously practice their ballet?
yes if you have them in a club and set the club activity to practice ballet
