This video is perfect ........... topic, the setting, the Mussels themselves, all the ingredients, Bart's presentation ............ say no more. Only perfect.
Probably one of the most satisfying seafood dishes, food of kings with good crusty bread. The water in that harbour look wonderfully clean and fresh, probably freezing cold. Thank You Bart, great dish, great video.
My favorite part of the week is waking up on Friday morning to your amazing recipes Bart. My wife and I always try and make as many of them as possible using the ingredients we have available here in Seattle which luckily has some amazing Seafood. I would absolutely love to meet you if you do plan a trip to Seattle. We can cook up some amazing Salmon and Crabs together. :) See you next Fishy Friday.
I've been to the Normandy many many times in my childhood, this dish was always the one I liked to eat the most there; takes me right back :) Great video Bart.
The best mussels I ever ate were in Normandy. It was with Pommeau, crème fraîche d'isigny and chives. It was so good, I always try to remake them at home but never get the same flavour as the one I ate in Normandy.
hi Bart, I love your channel and your videos with the beautiful scenery and recipes. But I wish your channel would grow more, in terms of subs, and I truly believe it deserves that. I believe that you should do more guest hosts on other channels and tv-shows, in order to gain more publicity and so on. But again, amazing video and scenery!
the recipe in the link from the description says 1 tomato. That's an error right? also the amount from what you said to what's written in the recipe doesn't match either...
You're too cool, I love your channel! We make them in Tuscany too, our recipe is better then the French... eh eh eh!! Just a little european animosity..!

See you next Fishy Friday.
This is one of the most beautifully shot episodes. The colors are so great.
The places you get to cook at are just as beautiful as the dishes you make. See you next Fishy Friday
Oh, looks very delicious....and having lunch right there, with the view of the harbor and the sea...it just adds to the food's taste!Congrats Bart...
Camping in Normandy this was one of my favourite meals to eat, can't wait to cook it myself!!!
another great video! thank you so much for sharing this recipe with us!!
I cook this quite often here in France, but without the celery and cream, this is great too, must try it!
Thanks!

I always admire you Bart. All the best from Indonesia and please come back to Indonesia:)
Moules à la Normande! Enjoy!
Bart's Fish Tales just the kind of recipe I was looking for. Thanks Bart
I always put a small cup of white wine into this. This is more than Bart uses. Result ..... superb.

One of my favourite ways of cooking mussels! I really should go to Yerseke to try the mussels there :-)

You will need a good, fresh baguette to dip into that sauce and enjoy it even more!!!!
I think this is like the 2nd or 3rd time you've made this dish on your channel
This is like Moules à la Marinière, but adding cream right?
the recipe in the link from the description says 1 tomato. That's an error right? also the amount from what you said to what's written in the recipe doesn't match either...
I always thought Normande had cider in it ?
aww i want fresh mussels now but i just moved to austria for a year so my chances of finding any are approximately 0 haha
dutch wine? I've spent 7 years in the Netherlands and not once I was told they made wine!

Is Yerseke pronounced as if it were spelt "Ierseke" not "IJerseke"?
Every time I cook mussels or clams I get sand in my finished dish no matter how I clean them. I've given up lol 😂
Pyrotecnic cooking!
It's the sunset messing up the lens making the steam looks like a flambe. =P
