The hair is adorable!! Agree 💯 that it will look cute without bangs. So self-aware to know that the reason you were scared of cutting it was coming from a negative place. You are an inspiration whether you know it or not. Even for those of us that are not moms, that are just trying to be women in the society we live in❤.
Thank you for sharing how much you pumped. I just had my second son and I pumped and literally had a breakdown because I only got 3 ounces. I immediately started crying tears of relief when I heard you say you got 4 oz!!!

We took our 10 month old on a trip and I had the same feelings as you. There were more night-wakings than usual so I understand being more tired. I also understand trying to adjust to a different body; it was confusing to know how to dress postpartum, but slowly I felt like myself again 🩷. Hair looks awesome :)
Your hair looks so good! This is a bit personal but my sister-in-law has breast cancer. After finding that out 3 years ago I kind of let go of the attachment to my hair (her hair was super long and thick). I'm glad you're donating it to a good cause

I nursed my kids until 21 mos and 35 months. From about 14 mos on, it was mostly just before bed and for comfort (like when sick). Worked for us. And I miss nursing! I’m glad it worked out for you. You sound like a pro. ❤

I am a breast cancer survivor and would have just loved a wig made from donated hair.. couldn’t afford it so I just had scarves and bandanas. You have done something incredible by donating.. Ah. I love and miss traveling. I went on a cruise when my son was 8 months old. It was nice but all I wanted to do was sleep. Now he's 2 and I have a 1 year old too. Waiting til they are older to do big trips. We will travel again!

Becca, if you see this, i find two week contacts much more comfy than one day ones! They are thicker and much less itchy to me.
Thank you!! I asked about 2 week contacts as that’s what I had before but they said they’re much less common now and it’s mostly monthly’s or daily’s 😱 I’m doing daily’s since I have dry eyes haha
I've tried for years to get hydrangeas to work for my yard but I finally gave upppp lol I hope you have better luck than I did/do

The glasses and contacts struggle is real! One of the ear supports (?) of my glasses broke of yesterday. I have a pretty strong prescription (-6) and the glasses make my eyes look a bit smaller. When I am wearing my contact lenses... well.. I have giant eyes. Giant insect eyes. And me and my giant insect eyes will need to go to the store to have them fix my glasses.

Hi Becca! I just adore you, and your hair looks great! You mentioned self-confidence and feeling shaky on it sometimes. I feel ya. First, give yourself some credit...you made a beautiful little human, and it takes time to bounce back, as you know. I used to struggle with my self esteem a lot more until I found something that really worked for me. Not sure if you're a believer or not, but I started really studying the Bible (one chapter a day). Seeing the way that God feels about me totally transformed the way I see and talk to myself. He calls us loved, his precious possession, wonderfully made, etc. We are made in His image, and we can do ALL things in Him. Anyway, just wanted to share that. You are so gifted and we LOVE YOU
I hear you on the clothes front. I'm still so sad my lovely pre baby clothes don't fit me anymore and they never will as my hips have moved. I will say though that you may go back to being smaller on the top once you've finished BF. I'm still going 2.5 years in but I'm noticing I'm reverting back to my old cup size, but lower HAHA. So don't sew loads of beautiful clothes based on your new cup size because it might change again!
Oooh you’re so right!!! It’s so hard to come to terms with these changes, especially knowing it could and probably will change again 😫 all worth it for the babes though.
My 2.5 year old daughter throws my and my husband’s glasses down and laughs. Rips them off our face and yeets them. I love my glasses but sometimes I want my contacts. During pregnancy (37.5 weeks here) my eyes change and I can’t wear contacts at all.
As for postpartum clothes/dressing, dressing my new body was very frustrating (up to the point of 2nd pregnancy). No clothing of mine fit and nothing was speaking to me or inspiring me anyway. I couldn’t get rid of the 12 pounds to get back to pre pregnancy weight. We’ll see with this one. But yeah. It’s not easy to dress your new body. But you look great. Don’t be too hard on yourself. Easier said than done. I know. Take care
