I never fathomed how Pinkham got the F1 gig in the first place and even more unfathomable how she's hung onto it. So irritating and as another contributor here said, seems to know next to nothing about F1 pre 2012.
She got the gig because she’s a very good presenter, simple really. And as for not knowing much about F1 before 2012, that’s at least 10 years more than 99% of people who comment about F1 on YT.
@@_Ben4810 in YOUR opinion she's an excellent live presenter. I'm my opinion she's awful. You also have an interesting concept of the term 'history buff'. I would consider a reasonable knowledge of F1 before the time she was recruited by Sky to be essential for anyone who takes a professional pride in what they're doing.

98% of the fans don't care or even think about it prior to the last 10 years. 2012 is to F1 what 1992 is to English football.
It had to be 2023 (reserve) drivers so going further back wasn't an option.
