At that point are there smd capacitors to download? I'd like to see his video to the end including repairing the sciutter if possible Thank you I kindly await your reply thanks
Thanks for the video. I have an a6000 with shutter stuck closed. I turn cam on and hear the shutter motor whine for 2 seconds and then camera error message. cant turn cam off, have to remove battery. From seeing other vids, one guy had a small piece of metal stuck in the gear, removed it and that was it. Do my symptoms sound like the same issue? it's as if the gears are turning but not actuating the shutter. Also if i have to relace the part, not sure if its the shutter unit or the more expensive MB charge unit behind it which seems to inclde the motor?
It could simply be the aperture ring behind the lens mount is stuck or out of alignment. It was on my a58. The same camera still won't auto-focus yet but it does not "error" on aperture changes that require the same restart as you do.
hi there, i have model SLT A33, what is demounted from 06:00 until 06:20 because i don't have that part and i'm just curious if it's only with newer model or is that part necessary? Thanks for the video!
Hello MYK Camera: I have 2 Sony a-mount Cameras. #1 is a Sony a33 which all of the function Buttons on the back plate do not work. And for the other camera my Sony a65 the Flip screen does not work it will function if I move the screen around then it comes on temporally. Any advise?
DO NOT start by taking the whole device apart. The error can be caused by the aperture ring in the lens mount being stuck or out of alignment. I tried to replace the plastic lens mount ring on my a58 with the metal one off my a330. I sold the a330 with the issue of the aperture not working but no error. The a58 still has a piece missing from the lens mount area and won't autofocus correctly but I fixed the camera error/restart issue. so far, just by putting the aperture ring in with the correct alignment.
Hey! At 0:18 you highlight two drill holes above the viewfinder. On my a55 those whole are covered with an additional layer, it looks like your was too? Just wondering if yours had holes already there where the screws were or if you had to drill through that extra layer to reveal the screws. That top part above the viewfinder appears to be the only thing stopping me from pulling the backside body off. The video is much appreciated and has helped a ton! Thank you!
