i hear you with those concerns. we had the same concerns and i've heard them before. The microphone has really good noise cancellation so generally you don't hear loud breathing or even engine noises. (it does happen sometimes for a couple seconds at a time but it's rare. But after using them for just a few minutes, everyone that has tried them has either bought them or added to their xmas list. They're so much more helpful and convenient than they are annoyingg. You can always turn down the volume or quick mute if you want. But honestly for me they make the ride about twice as fun as compared to without them.
Just upgraded from my Sena’s last week to the Packtalk Edge. Took it on my maiden ride 2 days ago and I love voice activated commands. Had a 3 hour ride listening to Christmas tunes.
We’ve been using these on dirt bikes and snowmobiles for years, (started with the Pactalk Bold)The best part, in my opinion, is the relentless b#ll-busting (sorry Megs I don’t have a better term) that goes on when someone (usually me) does something stupid! 😂
the newer cardos let you record voice via the cardo app on your phone or you can connect the cardo directly into the gopro. sadly my older cardo doesn't allow me record via the app
i dont wanna hear all the guys while riding. defently heavy breathing guys hahahaa.. I think that it disturb me more then it does good things. and. whe have handsights whe know exactly what another rider wannah say
