This may defy logic, but I really enjoy the videos of your time with Lauren! It’s truly nice to see someone that was clearly a loyal and a hard worker actually be appreciated to the point that you’re willing to teach her the parts of the job everyone takes for granted. People need to realize that the easy play would’ve been to just close up shop after the move. No way this makes sense for just a few RUclips videos. Kudos!
Truthfully bidding cars in Florida sending it up isn't bad. Gives you a different quality cars that's more desirable rather than risk bidding a rusty pos. If anything it might help scaled the business even further in my eyes. Great vid! Keep it up you guys!
Gonna be spending extra 800 per car not only that you will be waiting for the car for up to a week because transport drivers lie constantly about there arrival day to get your business then now that your post sale inspection (auction warranty) is over and now your stuck with the car even if it has a blown engine/ bad trans
Nice job Lauren!! and Craig...you could just go teach whatever....fast, but all good useful info. Lots of people teaching sometimes add too much fluff....that's not you. Hope they all sell quick for lots of cash! I am enjoying this series....
I'm sorry, but I couldn't imagine leaving her in charge of buying auction cars. I understand new apprentices, but you have to have some basic knowledge and instincts. She has very little and can't even listen when you tell her a cap. Then she's looking around at nothing when you are trying to tell her something important. She should be taking notes, and how many times do you have to tell her to actually get down and look for rust or stop bidding? She might be good in the office, but you are really leaving your business in the hands of a kid that can't mask something and paint it without getting overspray everywhere, and this girl who is like a deer in the headlights. You were much better off with German. You really need to invest in someone solid for your continued business. You can blow stupid money and lose your shirt on so many cars but not get experienced staff??
He said in the last video that it would be for rare occasions when they ran out of cars, she needs to know the basics, I’m sure he’s just sending cars up from Florida
Craig avoids Subarus because 'they're too risky' but buys old Audi's like he has money to burn. He looses thousands per car, but a Subie is too risky? Hahahahaha
I love these auction videos! Back to what they should be. Buying, gambling, winning, losing, with all the fun and nightmare stories to go with them. It is funny that you keep telling people what not to do and you routinely do it anyway. You know the views increase with the humor of your misfortunes. You come out ahead anyway because of that.
I am a car dealer. You walked past a 2012 or under Ford Escape in the video and said don't buy them or focuses. They all have Transmission problems. 2012 and under Escapes are super reliable ,besides rear shock tower and frame rust. And 2011 and under focuses are super reliable. Year Year Year. 2013 and up escapes and 2012 and up focuses have the junk Transmissions.

Then the season vechicle's get added to the mix.... seesm to be a month or so lag in videos so its still college and back to school season.
A friend bought a 2007 Jeep Liberty Limited with a 3.7L V6 and four-speed automatic for work. He proceeded to put 330,000 miles on the Liberty until his boss told him to get a new vehicle, not because he ever broke down, which he did not, but because of the miles. He gave the Liberty to his seventeen-year-old son who still drives the Jeep without failures. My friend bought a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a 3.6L V6 and eight-speed automatic, has 220,000 miles on the odometer and one repair, a water pump at 190,000 miles. He maintains his vehicles and they serve him right.
Whats the key to keeping the 3.6's from having issues? I hear they like to starve the top end of oil, causing cam issues? My gf wants to get a Wrangler with a 3.6 probably, I'm trying to persuade her to stick to Toyotas.
@@Gonzo_Bubb They install the oil filters sideways so it starves the engine of oil until it warms up. They have conversion kits you can install so the filter sits right side up
Hey Craig big fan here. I think we met eons ago when you were in Florida. We may have a mutual friend named Joanne. Anyway I live in Ormond by the sea. I just started a Turo business I watch your channel to educate myself on buying junk lol.. enjoy Florida bro you deserve it
It's a shame but we never got this Saab model in England. Before they went bankrupt we only got the two models here 93, 95 maybe 900 but thought it might be the same as 95.
This channel has had its run. Craigs type A personality isn't built for creative production. He's better suited to contract media work. The employees aren't media personalities. They're regular folk. Buyer beware! Don't buy any used vehicle from this guy. He is a Scam and very dishonest. He left the shop up north so nobody can find him. We have heard that he has several law suits Pending.
Hey, noticed Lauren? The girl next to you at 17:20 showing her visa card. You might want to do something about that. Yes, it's hard to read and the CVV is on other side. But just letting you know.
"Lets buy florida cars and ship them up north", since noone has been doing this already, now you'll learn about paying full retail prices at literally every dealer auction
Craig who complains about no one who bids on his cars ,which would be Wholesalers, used car dealers ,then says don't buy from wholesalers/used car dealers
Watch who you buy from! lol don’t buy from flying wheels! That’s why you lose your ass on every car you take to auction! Man brother practice what you preach!

You have to constantly tell her to check for rust, check underneath, check if the windows work, AC ect.. and she still doesn’t have a clue. And then you have that apprentice (which is cool you’re taking him under your wing albeit some of the junk you sell is laughable) who doesn’t have a clue. Your “business” is being ran by amateurs.

Yeah he would need his own transporter for that to work out
lol, craig says to her dont buy from small dealers or wholesalers since they are very risky, then also wonders why his cars dont sell at the auction!
The frosted tips joke was great, well done Adam 😂
This is great! Lauren's excitement is spectacular.

You need to hire a good buyer and pay them $200/ car. Why isn’t your dad or bro buying Loren might have a learning curve
The open toe shoes was a give-a-way that she didn't come prepared to work at the auction.

I work at Manheim in Dallas hmu if you ever need a inspection on a car I see so many broken vehicles and undisclosed conditions on auction cars 🫡
I would drive that explorer. Looks like a good buy.
Thanks for sharing Craig !
Craig's not a car dealer, he's a chemist he takes money and turns it into shit.

More videos like this please. This is the reality of a used car dealer. Less expensive crap, more real cars.
As a retail buyer Covid 19 screwed the used car market forever. In SoCal $5000 is the new/$2000.
Your videos don’t warrant 30 second ads.
Great video Craig I’m sure with your guidance she will do great for your business
I think 5 k to find a half decent vehicle 2 k sounds like trouble
Most $5k vehicles at small dealerships are $2k cars in the auction. That’s how you make money lol
Start buy taking off the flying wheels stickers on the cars it looks cheap and over powering minimalist is the way to go. People talk not stickers.
Flying Wheels,,,,,, Yeee Yeee
Walked right by a crv... video on how not to buy cars. Flyin wheels
I think those two SL covertibles in Florida should sell.
It’s funny that Craig gets on her for going over her cap, but he has a cap and a “buffer” lol
Craig -"we dont want that"
Lauren - "thank god"
Great video Craig!
Love the new video intro!
Yeah just spray paint the wheels and its a good selling point😂
Cheaper to buy new wheel covers it was not alloys but anyway......
Funny that he’s trying to teach her when he loses money constantly…. 😂
