- We took Day 4 of the cruise as a work day, but Day 5 finds us in Saint Thomas! Join us as we head ashore to catch a taxi to Magen's Bay, then spend the day snorkeling in between the raindrops. Back onboard, we fill our evening with an upcharge Orange Party Bar Hop adventure all over the ship, dancing at the Orange Party in the Rolling Stone Lounge, some bonus footage from Billboard Onboard dueling pianos the evening before, then an exploration of late night snack options!! :D

Orange Party was my favorite part of video! Have never seen the domino trick with the drinks! Such fun! And as always, loved seeing the snorkeling experience! Jay, your descriptions on Magen's Bay were detailed and helpful!

St Thomas is expensive…most expensive beach day on our recent 9 night cruise. Chairs were $20 each. Jay-those socks would be perfect for New Zealand!!!!!

The Onboard Pub Crawl looked great, lot of energy and loved the Domino action on the drinks. Would not picture that on a Holland America, but great ideal and love any enrichment events.

I love Magen's Bay. I've only been there once so far, but I'd definitely go back in a heartbeat. We had much better weather, but no floating fruit salad. Lots of little silver fishes though. And then we went to Paradise Point for a late lunch. Great day on St. Thomas.

HAL pretty much went all-in with their music scene and their Step One dance shows, but we've heard that they're bringing more "traditional" singing & dancing shows back to some of their newer ships now, which we're glad to see!! :D
My partner overheard me watching your video and he reckons that Jay sounds like Fred from Scooby Doo...

This still looked like such a fun day. I never mind a stormy beach and sometimes the pictures come out so pretty because of the different colors from the clouds
It’s a Google Watch that pairs with a Google Pixel smartphone. Not sure how friendly it would be with non-Google phones though.

I don't think the orange party a year and a half ago was like that
In our Nieuw Statendam and Noordam vlogs, we showed the regular Orange Party experience, but this time we paid for the upcharge bar hop option just to try something different. Normally the Orange Party is drinks and snacks with music in the lounge, true.
Where do you put your bags when you go into the water?

the garbage is from the boats. the garbage just gets tossed into the water....so does the "waste" from the toilet. fun!

Yikes, not for us, ha ha. We spend most of our time in the water, so we rarely rent chairs. But I’m sure some folks would use the heck out of them!! :P
