The fact that the buildings Harry painted may still exist is very exciting. I think most people would have thought they were just figments of his imagination. I hope she sold them and bought something less fragile.
Sadly nowadays they’ll be worth hardly anything. The market for hand painted porcelain has collapsed. I know this as my dear parents collected items like those on the programme & paid a fortune for them. When they passed, it was almost impossible to give them away! Such a shame!
@@warriorzandfriends Possibly, ceramics prices haven't moved much is the last 20 years but as with all things the best quality items always seem to increase in value.
Sadly, it’s not something we Brits can ignore nowadays. The slave trade. It is part of our history and we should own it, but given the occasion and the time this programme was made, it was just not on anyone’s agenda. So, I’m not surprised and your comment a needless one.
All beautiful, but her reaction, priceless! I can hear her thinking, how the heck am I going to get this home without breaking any?
That was a fake reaction. Do you got a diper on ? So that you can crap ur pants?
They’re told beforehand.

So beautiful
Good for her
WoW!!! Great Family Heirloom
"Maybe not worth very much.." but they are PRICELESS to your family.
I collect items like this. And I'm an expert. He's valuations are wrong. All of these together are worth at least 1.2 million pounds.
@@Spencerlaynemaybe read the disclaimer at the start of the video: all prices were valid at the time of filming, which was obviously a while ago.
@@sinjesse I was joking man 😏😏🤣🤣

How do you get them home ... well packed‼️

The lady in the blue jacket in the background was creeping me out
This was filmed in 2001, her family heirlooms have probably doubled in value
Wow ❤
I have one just like it.
One what?
@@katherine3486 His bubbe.
Hahah
Episode from the late 80's i believe.
2001 according to the blurb.
So, they might be worth a bit more by now?

Never thought porcelain can be that heavy 😅
Where’s my calculator?
When she says what about the 30 others in the shed?
She was hoping for more

In the uk when something is valued at a few thousand pounds they all act as if they have won the lottery sad
2001.
These were values of 20 or even 30 or 40 years ago. And items that when they were bight were just a few pounds.
OMG her fingernails were grimy with dirt.
Has a garden….
A programme featuring Toffs and Tories, for Toffs and Tories…. Bore off!🙄🤦🏻
Yet clearly you allow it to affect your miserable, jealous little mind enough to scrawl a bilious comment about it... 😂
But they forgot to mention the transatlantic slave trade.
