Marshall your the G.O.A.T. Super impressed young man. See you at the store soon. Thanks for the fantastic video and congratulations on your achievement! Jim
Wow, I'm super impressed you accomplished this in a single day ride. Your adventure came across my RUclips feed since I have been researching Ft. Myers to Key West bike tour. In fact, I depart this weekend to start my journey. I'm biking from Shark Valley in the Everglades to Key West. Only 200 miles for my tour and I'm taking multiple days. The thought of tackling this in one shot is epic! Well done and thanks for sharing your ride.
@@mikestokes5488 Mike thank you for the kind words. I wish you nothing but the best of luck with your journey. That’s quite the adventure !! I want to hear all about it when you get done !
I initially questioned the start time of your ride, but the reduced traffic make great sense. Fantastic ride and entertaining video. Although I like group riding, I've solved many more life problems when it was just me, the bike, and the road.
you are a thrill seeker! omg !!! would not of chosen that route for a night ride. but that's only my thoughts on it. i wish they would add a bike lane on that route or at least 29 and tamiami
@@russellely1021 hey Russ that route has the least amount of traffic (well, besides getting out of Ft Myers). There really aren’t any other routes I could have taken besides that.
@Thesobercyclist I have seen some ride thru the bear island management area down turner river road from 29 to Tamiami. Or across the picayune state forest to fackahatchee strand to 29 the Tamiami to loop road. But those routes are not a 16 hour ride. Glad you did this ride to show what can be done sober
@ that’s a great point I’ve seen that too. I probably could have done that with the tires I had equipped. I think I would go that way too if I had someone with me. If something were to happen out there no one would be passing by until who knows when. That would be quite the adventure though! 🤔
@@justinmdean2082 thank you so much. There was a huge line waiting to get into the museum. I rode straight past in search of food and an ice cold non alcoholic beer. I was able to find both at Jack Flats

@@peterosborne838 thanks Peter. I had to leave at that time to ensure I was able to make it onto the Key West Express in time. Thanks for watching !!

I love your plan. I would have to stay away from the Hemingway Museum. That would trigger me. Good work!
