    Master Rhee is truely one of the greats of Tae Kwon Do ,was fortunate enough to be graded on many occasions by the great man whilst studing tkd under the u.k.t.a banner,before allsorts of political splits in tkd ,and t.a.g.b. set up.still unforgetable knowledge gained from the master.

    She used the ball of her foot which is absolutely the best part of your foot to use when breaking with turning kick. I was there when they filmed this - she was perfectly fine and could have done a couple of hundred boards :) I'm not sure why you think it's incorrect, but I can recommend you buy the book+DVD-ROM and it will explain why and how to perform a turning kick for maximum power and effectiveness. Thanks for watching! Kelvin, Media Insight Team

    It's now out onsale in Amazon.co.uk. Amazon.co.uk will ship worldwide. They should also be onsale in Amazon.com for our North American customers by mid-November. Hurricane Sandy has played havoc with the East Coast's docks and shipping so there's been some delays there.

    really i thought when i was white belt n beat one of ur black belts i became a real man. not one man in the world would tell me to enter that one, but it is now one of my most proudest acheivements i mention at times like this. thats how much it is worth to me... nothing. taekwon is still good tho, very good, can fuck me up. im finish wastin my time here.

    Wasn't the first Grand Master General Choi Hong Hi?

      He was the founder. ITF didn't use Grand Master for a long time.

      Yes general Choi was the first person ranked as Grand Master since he was considered the founder. Ree was just one of the first students from general Choi to obtain the rank of Master. But then he quit and made his own ITF.

      My trainer was 6th degree when I started and he relatively recently became a grandmaster. He also trained with Choi Hong Hi back in the days. Seems like a lot of his students became very good.

    Control?

  • @aaronpoage597
    @aaronpoage597 Год назад

    In virtue's realm, let courtesy reside,
    A gentle grace that flows from heart's pure tide.
    Kind words and acts, like blossoms in the morn,
    Embrace the world, where love and peace are born.
    Integrity, a beacon shining bright,
    A steadfast guide through darkness and through light.
    With honesty, the soul stands tall and true,
    Unswayed by falsehoods, steadfast and imbued.
    In self-control, a sacred art is found,
    A mastery of self, where peace is crowned.
    Temper desires with wisdom's gentle hand,
    And find tranquility, like stillness of sand,
    Perseverance, a flame that burns within,
    Fanning the spirit, where dreams and hopes begin.
    Through trials and tribulations, ever strong,
    With steadfast courage, we shall journey along.

    It's Taekwondo, like TA Kwon do (a like in the word glad). Not ''Tay'' Kwondo. Why can't so many english speaking people learn how to properly pronounce it...

      It's correct spelling is Taekwon-Do and is pronounced "Tay Kwon Do". This is how the Koreans pronounce it.

    • @nyhyl
      @nyhyl 7 лет назад

      No there is no "y" pronounced at the end of tae. It's just a short "a"-sound, like "ta" in the word "attack".

    • @caldertkd

      if you only studied for 2 years you never learned the basics and quit like most lazy people, its not about fighting - self defence only and that takes many years of study, you quit so you suck
