@@TripSoul10this game. Because as amazing as that Patriots comeback was, for over half of that game, it felt hopeless and meaningless. That game was made amazing by what happened in the last quarter and a half, but everything before that was a black hole of sports entertainment. Thats why I always thought the Patriots Super Bowl against the Seahawks was better (even as a Seahawks fan) because it was back and forth and competitive all the way through, never feeling like either team was out of it.
This game did feel mildly hopeless for a little bit because even though the deficit wasn’t so bad, it genuinely felt like the Chiefs couldn’t really do anything on offense, but it still kept my attention a whole lot more throughout than most of the SB 51.

I grew up in Kansas City and used to watch their football games on television. The closest they came to winning, before Mahomes came on board, was the 1994 AFC Championship game w/Montana as quarterback and Marcus Allen as running back. I no longer live in KC but I'm still a KC fan and seeing them win, all the way on The West Coast, is just as sweet. Go KC! I know from experience that the fans are going wild tonight.

Each decade since the 60's has had a dynasty. The 60's had the Packers, the 70's had the Steelers, the 80's had the 49ers, the 90's had the Cowboys, the 2000's and the 2010's had my team the Patriots, and the 2020's now have the Chiefs.

1995 the 49ers actually won a super bowl after that Joe went to kc and won a Superbowl with them which is crazy because Joe played for both teams lol
