A little sound design info: The Led Zeppelin song is used as a leitmotif (a phrase of music that connects to an actor, an idea, or a scene). The music here connects the idea of Thor being at his prime form. It's played only two times in the movie: Once at the start where Thor fights Surtur, and here. It presents his return to prime form.
Man I doubt Zep would have ever seen this coming. Immigrant Song and No Quarter are arguably amongst the best songs that can be used for the modern Hollywood pop idea of Norse culture. Decades in the future and that fit so well with the scene ❤
Lol, the song alone sends a message 😅 after watching so many reactions to this scene alone I can understand how people are questioning everything. I'm so glad I educated my children on music period.
Every one of them was underwhelmed by the slow mo Immigrant song riff scene. It's like they have no idea just how profoundly artistic and powerful that shot is.
I don’t know why but this scene is always so hard for me. With my father gone since 2020, I always imagined having a conversation like this with him. Brought to my knees with exhaustion, fed up, tired, wishing he was there to talk to. Just wondering how the hell he got through it all. “I’m not as strong as you.” Hits hard
“god of thunder” is just what they know him by but he’s associated with lightning, thunder, storms, sacred groves & trees which is why he’s able to speak to Groot but it also could be his allspeak so idk but god of thunder is basically just his “stage name” in Norse mythology
@@Nomadxcvii yea I realized I spoke too soon as it wasn't just them but everyone called him the thunder god and that's probably fair with the association, just in my head thunder is the sound but lightning is what's gonna kill you
The god of thunder and lightening. Everyone said thunder I was like and lightening. He once was the God of Hammers too, when he hit the Bridge he told the undead army. "U Can't touch this" hammer time
ALOT if not, all of these movies remind me of watching the WWF in the 80s early 90s. Like at the end of a match, Hulk Hogan or Jake the Snake etc would get inspiration from the crowd or their manager somehow boost their confidence in order to regain strength etc to turn the table and win the match. Like how Hogan won his matches lol. Same as the end of these movies and how the hero ends up saving the day etc. Can't get to the top until you've suffered at the bottom. hmmm

Valkyrie isn't the protagonist thor is, so obviously you wouldn't see her because you don't need to see her cause Thor is the main event so nobody cares for her. If he was to put Valkyrie in then he would have to put the other secondary characters that joined the fight as well like loki and show the hulk also.
@@Sold1er_Boy if you didn’t need to see her they wouldn’t announce her joining the battle with a fireworks show, that shot and the shot of Hulk beating the crap out of the giant wolf are part of that sequence because it’s the turning in the tide of the battle.
