Maybe I just like good grammar too much. But it really is distracting when you say "they" instead of "she", especially when it is clear that "they" refers to just one person. If you were talking to both genders, or about unknown gender, that would be different. And I'm not asking you to change anything. I'm just expressing how distracting it is, especially when you constantly flip between "they" and "she", and use both in the singular.
