This is a truly beautiful house with one exception. The porch off from the living room is in the wrong place. When someone drives to the entry you are easily seen and it doesn't feel private. This should be on the back or to the side of the house.
"This home is proof that retirement living can be both stylish and comfortable. Amazing job highlighting all the little details that make this place truly special!"
Lovely, would love to see a retirement one floor farm house! With a porch/s, and a bathroom with a shower by the front/side door.( and a larger laundry room with a folding table :)
So great - and don't forget a sufficient roof overhang. This will grant longevity and weather protection for decades of years . . . 😊😊 By the way: this room size is deserving a 85'' TV-screen or larger . . .
Beautiful layout, and needs a few tweaks--walk-in pantry. Also, the tv should not block the view to the front deck, and the rear deck needs a non-bedroom access point. Also, if this is a retirement home, it should be ADU compliant. Not sure where the laundry was located. Was it supposed to be in the mudroom coming in from the garage?
You confused us by bringing us in from the porch instead of via the main entry. It's a good plan and includes the important features. There's no pantry, but there are tall closets in the laundry room that could be used for pantry purposes.
Only one thing I’d change…. The chair in front of the fire. Instead of that one a cozy lazy boy! Those wooden arms on that chair look uncomfortable. But other than that, the house is gorgeous! Love the 2 car garage and all the extras. Your homes are beautiful.
Nice home but I won’t vent a dryer through the roof and not a fan of self venting dryers. Could the attic area over the garage be accessed by ladder inside the home? This would make storage space and could be heated and AC too.
I think the dryer vent would be only a short run to the entry porch, but my concern is the kitchen stove vent, which would have a long and convoluted run. I, too, would like access to the attic over the garage.
@@Bobrogers99 The stove is electric and the vent I use now is with the microwave above it with no hole through the roof. Works fine. I have to wash the filter in very hot water periodically though. A stackable washer and dryer by the garage door would allow dryer venting to the garage.
@@teresal5553 Your cooking is a lot healthier than mine. I use a frying pan often, and an unvented filter wouldn't cut it. In fact, the usual over-the-stove microwaves don't vent enough for me. I have a hood that vents through the wall directly outside.

nice design, but would like to see more floor plans with outdoor living spaces in the rear of the house, maybe with out door kitchens too
Will do 😎
@@GaryJensen-k3f Me too! I often sit out back with my dogs or to just be in nature.
Love this home. ❤. I can definitely see myself living there. Gorgeous 😊

Oh no, the Pantry is on the dining wall next to the bathroom. I forgot to show it.
@@avnstudio93 Now I see it! That's a much better location for food storage than the laundry room! ;-)

Beautiful, thank you!!!
Yeahh
I didn't see the laundry room. If there's isn't any, maybe you could make one from the back porch space.

@@Bobrogers99Oops, not garage but porch. Don’t like it at an entry door either.

Too many windows , I love privacy and safety being retired I feel this would be a thieves treasure.
I really want to see the projects of single-storey stone houses for narrow plots up to 150 m2 Thanks in advance)
