    I'm just getting started with polymer clay. I do a lot of bead work but this has really inspired me to incorporate my bead work with the clay. We have long dark winters here in Alaska so watching your videos and working with the clay makes the days seem like minutes. Thank you for the wonderful inspiration.

    Totaly inspired by this on so many levels... what a fantastic share of your tutorials in a most personalized way, the keepsakes you wear ! Wish i had a pair of earrings from a lot of things i've made and no longer own as a record of my journey.

    Truly Awesome! I just started making jewelry and find making earrings such fun. So far I've only used purchased beads. I have also purchased the basic polymer clay supplies but haven't made anything yet because I need to get my craft room in order. It's really more of a crap room right now, lol. Nowhere to place my pasta machine or oven.
    This was very inspiring and may be just the motivation I needed. Love your tutorials and appreciate the quality of your teaching. Thank you, Cindy.

    Do I like this video....ahhhh.....YES?..!!! I have been wanting to get into polymer clay for several years...I even purchased some books, an oven and lots of other tools and some clay that is probably too old to use now...😟...all still in a box in my craft closet...🙃...I am so skeptical of stepping into this...why?.....I don't know...perhaps finding your channel will change this for me...!!! LOVE all the earrings...wish owned a pair of each...!!! 💜🦄💜

    Do you have any problems with oxidation on those handmade earring wires?
    I currently use bought ones, just because I need metal working tools to give things some strength, but I was wondering especially about the copper ones as I am always worried about earrings with oxidation and stuff.
    Do you have metal working tutorials? If not, would you consider doing tutorials? I am really interested in things like how to strengthen wire to make it more durable and less likely to bend and loose shape.
    Thanks a lot for your videos, I've been watching a lot of them lately and got so much inspiration as I'm finally starting making jewellery again after neglecting it for a long time.

    Hi love your tutorials! I have a question....i am using fimo to make earrings and use the pasta machine larger setting for the thickness of the earring but it seems to me that they are pretty weak and could break easily...what thickness is the right thickness and is fimo ok for earrings or other polymer clays are more resistent? Thanks.

      +James Defilippis That purple side is a combination of Premo Purple Pearl, Magenta Pearl, Peacock Pearl and Purple. It is a pretty combination, isn't it?

      And yes, I've bought it and it's in 6 different segments: Intro, Cane, Beads, Baking Shaping Gluing, Sanding Finishing Drilling, and Neckwire. It's a fantastic tutorial - highly recommended!

    Hi Cindy,
    Thank you so much for your wonderful videos. They have helped me so much as I begin my polymer clay adventure.
    I have a question about glue on bails. I used Premo, baked as directed and glued on a bail with E6000. More than 24 hrs later I checked it and I was able to pull the bail right off. It came off clean, no damage to the pendant, but I was hoping for a permanent bond. Any advice?
    Thank you so much.

    • @PolymerClayTutor
      @PolymerClayTutor  8 лет назад

      With E6000 you need to put some on each piece, let it dry a few minutes and then stick it together. (A lot like rubber cement.) You'll get a much better bond that way.

    Thank you so much for sharing your very creative earrings, I am wondering what size rivot eyelets is recommended for most average sized jewelry? like is it a size 1/4"' or smaller, etc?

    • @PolymerClayTutor
      @PolymerClayTutor  5 лет назад

      That is kind of a tricky questions since it really depends on what you're making. I have used several different sized eyelets on my jewelry making projects. Here is my Amazon link to a package of eyelets in a variety of sizes that should fit your needs: amzn.to/2GlTwcA Hope that helps!

    I have a question. I want to start making my own ear wire hooks because I have a hard time finding ones that work. I am allergic to nickel. what kinds of wire can us nickel allergy people use?

    • @PolymerClayTutor
      @PolymerClayTutor  8 лет назад +1

      +Jennifer Coffman My favorite wires to use to make earwires that are good for people with allergies is Niobium, Argentium Silver, Silver Filled and Gold Filled in 20g half hard wire. They are more expensive but you don't need a lot for even the fancier earwires, and they make all the difference in the quality, value and wearability of your earrings. I never buy factory made ear wires anymore.
