Old but gold!
Anyone else think that the Orc narration sounds like an epic Cookie Monster? Lol
This was the best game of the Warcraft universe.
32:23 Only ay fooool
I love the immersion back in the days, the greatest era of videogames!
Alliance campaign briefings and cutscenes start at: 14:20 and 39:29
FOR THE ALLIANCE!
I remember thinking that the opening cinematic was the coolest thing since slinced bread when I was a kid... I use to watch it over and over again. xD
So many Named heroes here that become legends in WoW
The rustic graphics n mistery sounds of War1 took me to the epic War2 in my childhood. War2 was exciting for the labored maps, stories, scary pictures drawn in the game book, 90's cinematics and, of course, battles... I loved it more than war3. 'Cause i was an adult already n War2 was more realistic (about characters) and so approached to medieval age as well to RPG stories, in my opinion. Whole nights and even years playing n struggling to overcome some episodes, with shouts of victory like winning the world cup! I didnt have internet cheats n didnt understand english very well here in Brazil, at those times, but loved to fully understand the whole story years later in RUclips. Thanks for the video :)
A great story I can agree with my friend. Battle onwards!
7yo old me: "can i play this game?"
parents: "can't see why not" (games are for children)
war2: Cursor is literally a severed orc hand. flesh and bones.
This game was epic! I remember playing it when I was a kid. Time sure does go by fast!
Wow this takes me back to being a child. Instead of playing cowboys and Indians we played orcs and humans at recess. Warcraft had such a large part of my childhood
My best memories circling around World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King:)
Ah, yes. The dark epic and awesome cinematics of one the TRUE Warcrafts, Warcraft 2.
19:49 - That was epic for those times. )
I remember on another video someone commented they wished they could have done that in the game.
this game teached a lot of useful things that only a few will understand and today people will not understand
the act music was epic but i still cannot find the track anywhere and its a travel back to my childhood
I love how the narrator say names like Alterac, reminds me of my younger days playing DM for my circle of nerds and trying to do pretentious pseudo-Tolkien names for my NPCs 😇
Yep and his entire pseudo-British accent is hilarious and awesome.
95% of Tolkiens name come from the Heimskringla.
"His life, is also forfeit"
Whenever I used to play world of warcraft, I always put the intro theme on for going into battle. Especially later on when the Cata battle against Deathwing was pretty much the closest we got. Not to mention the blizz con digital ticket reward was a zepplin mount for horde (which was the only true horde zepplin mount at the time).
Yes I used to fly that zepplin about with the warcraft 2 intro playing. Well worth the early access to the WoD reveal and fun in-game. Good times...
2023 and I'm just as excited and happy to see this cinematics as I was maaaaany years ago
I like how it was exactly the same missions weither you took the orcs or alliance campaign.
Those words bring back so much memories.
Thank you people for watching my vids!:)
Thank you for this
You are welcome:)
I never managed to complete the games, I'm horrible at RTS games
well, tbh in Wc2 you can get lucky and the AI just breaks during a game :D - happens all the time
I keep hearing pet battle sounds listening to the soundtrack >
of cours,e they took wc2 sountrack for that ; )
I can still hear the ogre magi casting bloodlust.
For the Horde of Draenor!, For Ner'zhul!
Glittering Prizes
It is a good day to die
make it so
Aww, the GOG version doesn't have the PS1 cutscenes? Some of those were good.
They are exclusive to the ps1 version.
Asking any lore gurus here: We know Ner'zhul becomes the Lich King, but what happens to Khadgar and his forces in the Twisting Nether?
Oh, long story, but here is a short version. I know, it looks like a lot, but this is as short as I can make it.
Dreanor was torn apart, leaving a continent and a few other pieces to float around in “space”, which were renamed Outland. Khadgar and the other survivors got split up, but all of them had no way to return to Azeroth, so kinda made themselves at home on Outland.
Around 18 years later (in World of Warcraft), the Portal to Outland got opened by demons, and both Horde and Alliance went through to push them back and root them out, as Outland was basically their beach head. So, as players explore Outland, contest the Burning Legion and other enemies, we actually find Khadgar (and other survivors) in the few remaining settlements, like Shattrath city, home to all kinds of survivors native to Draenor like orcs and daenei, but also people from other worlds and now adventures from Azeroth. And he’s very much in favour of Horde and Alliance working together to defeat the existential threat that is the Legion.
He eventually returns to Azeroth and Dalaran, becomes part of the Council of Six for a time, but doesn’t do too much, until someone messes with the timeline. It was a weird expansion in WOW that meant going to an alternative Draenor and Khadgar was more or less the expedition leader, since he’s experienced and pretty much neutral, willing to work alongside Horde & Alliance and respected by both.
We were mostly successful, but unfortunately at the very end a portal on Azeroth got opened, leading to another invasion by the demonic Burning Legion. Time to fight them on home soil.
So, Khadgar rallied both Alliance and Horde, went back to Dalaran to get the Kirin Tor on board (also became leader of the Kirin Tor and de facto ruler of the city) and played a major role in helping to defeat the Legion once and for all, as well as keeping both factions united in the meantime.
While fighting the Legion we also found Turalyon and Alleria, who had been flung to a different corner of the twisting nether all those years ago, and had been presumed lost/dead. Out there they had joined an army of Light-wielders, dedicated to fighting the Legion, so everyone joined forces for the final battle. FYI, during their reunion with Khadgar they reminded him that it was the wizard’s turn to buy drinks, while Khadgar told them that Danath (now ruling Stromgarde) and Kurdran (back with his people) were both still alive as well.
Of course once the Legion was gone, tensions between Horde and Alliance rose again, but Khadgar kept Dalaran neutral, because he really wants peace between them (he’s really sick of these pointless, destructive wars) and was unwilling to kill those he just fought alongside with against the demons.
The others still serve the Alliance exclusively, with Turalyon actually being regent of Stormwind, since the King’s currently missing.
And that should be the basics.
@@corvusalbus7276isn't the King of Stormwind dead?
@@LordThomasPassion Varian Wrynn died in the Legion expansion, very early on, yes, but his son Anduin Wrynn succeeded him. Anduin isn’t dead, but after getting abducted, mind-controlled and such, he needed some time away to find himself/to learn to trust himself again. So, for now he’s wandering around somewhere, not even his spymasters knows where, which is why Turalyon is regent until his return.
@@corvusalbus7276 sooooo orc and dranaei were from same planet? i...get so confused as you mentioned draenor survivors (found in shattrath) included draenei, but ...or are they explorers that ended up there. I thought draenei were from argus? im mixing up names from TBC and Legion. please tutor as im eager to understand FULL Lore but dont have time to read the books
@@spoiled_sushi2031 Ah, I see how that might have been confusing. Originally, Draenei were from Argus yes; I didn’t mention it because I didn’t want to get into their backstory and at that point in history Draenei had been living there for centuries, they considered it home, with new generations having been born on Draenor. I used native more to differentiate between people living on Draenor prior to its destruction, and none-natives as in people, who arrived and lived there once it was turned into Outland (like anyone from Azeroth, Brokers and such)
480p? :v
I forgot how much the music sounds like zoom
They should update this but do a better job than 3. I'd love to be able to play this one on my current laptop.

It is a good day to die
And now we have rainbow colored lizards who sing Kumbaya together while holding hands.
Also did you cathc the mention of deathwing? I though neltharion was just nealtharion until cata when he was deathwing
@@spoiled_sushi2031 He was always Deathwing. Neltharion was a Wow ism
I can't unhear this. But I have to tell you. If you don't want to have to unhear this, I hope the rest of this comment will end up under the "read more" section, which is the only real spoiler that youtube offers. In these dark times.
The Ork narrator sounds a lot like kermit the frog.
Oh...oh no ... I can't unheard it 😭😭😭
SAR GER AS?!
38:20
I guess nobody told Bill Roper, the Narrator and nearly all units' voice actor, how Sargeras is supposed to be pronounced before they record their lines!
Also, he voiced EVERYONE in the first game! So yeah, not his fault if nobody told him how Sargeras is pronounced!
i caught that too @@MALEMization
