Cherish those moments with the little ones. They’ll remember what you teach them & all they watched you do. They’re little sponges 😊
I love how lovingly you both work together.
Peaches n Creme...That brings back so many memories. That was my Grandmothers favorite corn to grow back in the day. Sitting here watching ya'll shuck that corn also reminds me that there's an art to it. Dad used to know how, but before he passed I never learned his secret. He had a way of shucking corn that he perfected where it only took two swipes to clear the husk, but the corn was clean. NO Strings what so ever. I could strip the corn in two pulls, but mine always had some kind of silk on it, Dads was perfectly clean like he used some kind of brush on his but never did.
Glad to see ya'll are still doing good and I bet that was an absolute blast watching your grandson go skirting up and down those isles yanking those stalks of corn.
We love ya'll too and have a Blessed Day.
Aaww what a wonderful video and corn harvest!!! Love to see the grandson but understand not. What a big beautiful harvest! God truly provides!! Thank you!!
You two are quite a team and that corn looked delicious without even being cooked.
Absolutely no one can touch the presentation of your videos. My favorite for sure.
Glad you enjoy it!
Brings back many childhood memories for me, my dad being native American grew so much corn, beans and squash and we canned, and froze stuff all summer long.
Peaches and cream and Kandy corn are my favorites ❤❤❤❤
hey Hollis an a Nancy enjoyed as aways hey Bing Bing God Bless u all
Peaches and cream corn is the most popular eating corn here in Ontario.😀
A friend gave me 40 ears of fresh corn yesterday. Perfect timing to watch this video. I'm blanching them right now. Thanks!
Wonderful!
No boring music your channel! Yee-haw! Let’s roll!
Found you guys just in time. I knew you would have a corn video for me!
Team work 😊 🌽🌽🌽🌽🌽
I like the bluegrass music too
It’s a blessing just watching your videos! Thank you so much! God Bless You!
Wow, thank you
That was a lot of yummy looking corn for sure. Thank you for sharing your process of preserving your sweet corn. Days of hard work pays off for many months to come having food on the table.
I think you must have been in the military...the way you plan your work and work your plan is so efficient ❤
Thats a lot of corn and it looks great, keep up the great videos, the wife and i love them. God Bless
I love your videos. Start to finish and always delightful. Thank you. ❤

Great video! Thanks so much for all of your insights and teaching! Lovely shirt too, nancy!❤😊
I love your channel. As a fellow floridian, I find it inspiring and educational.
Awesome! Thank you!
So nice seeing you too working together ❤️
More to come!
Nice harvest and storage😊
The chickens loved it too😊
Yes, thanks
Always a pleasure 🙏 ☺️ 😊 🤗
I used your last video advise on last year's peaches and cream corn and it came out great. Can't wait for this year. 🌽
Wonderful!
Excellent video once again! Love to Bing Bing🥰
Yay! Thank you!
I quit blanching corn because it seems to set the starch. We just grate as soon as it is ready and put in freezer bags. The shrink seal corn like you are doing is best.
😊
I wish we had your weather 😅. Beautiful fenced in planting area. Can't wait to do ours with our problems with the deers, too. What a teamwork you have!
Y’all are the best
Best corn I like is Silver Queen
Love your videos. Thank you.
Thank you so much for the video. I really liked the ice frozen in large containers in the ice chest for cooling the corn after blanching it. I never thought to do that.
Love peaches and cream. Thank you
You are so welcome!
I've never heard of Peaches and cream. I'll have to give it a try. By the way, I'm growing potatoes in 5 gal buckets following your instructions. My plants are huge and heathy but still haven't flowered. It's been 90 days and the package said they'd be ready to harvest in 75 days. I''ll just keep waiting unless you have some advice. Thanks for your wonderful. videos.
Thanks for taking us through storing process. We can't wait to try our hand at growing corn this year.
Our pleasure!
Awesome video!! I’m growing corn as well here in SW Florida. I sure hope it turns out.

The wife and I enjoy our corn days also. A freezer full of corn is very satisfying. Glad you guys are doing well. May God continue to bless you and yours. Tight lines from Georgia

God bless you guys!!! From Tampa.. will love to visit your farm.. on what month did you guus plant the corn??
Where did you get the tool to take the kernels off the corn?
What variety of corn are you harvesting?
@Hollis & Nancy
I don't know where you find that music you use in the vids (like the opening music) but I do like it. And if it is around where can we get it??
We purchase the copyrights for 600 bucks per year to use them in our videos
@@HollisNancysHomestead Good to know. I hope that that has the attachment that should you not pay for it in future years your current videos are not affected with the music being in them??
Were did you get the wire baskets from I like them
I find them at different stores looking in the laundry department
Y’all have a lot of shucking going on 🤣😳
What kind of vacuum sealing machine did you use with the corn?
Where did you get peaches & cream corn seed?
The P & C, how many ear you gettin off a stalk ??
Thank you !! ❤
1 or 2. Sometimes I get 3 but not often
you cook before vac packing?
We do according to National Center for Food Preservation policy
Do you ever have issues with corn worms?
We did have e little. It we gave to the chickens
I can't grow corn for the life of me😢.
You can we have a 3 part playlist on how to grow it
@HollisNancysHomestead I'm in Central Florida. I'll definitely watch the other videos. Love you two and thanks for all your helpful videos.
Corn's too cheap to waste all that time and resources on. What you have there when you're done is extremely expensive corn that isn't even fresh when you eat it. You may as well buy cans of corn and frozen corn at the store, it would be at least 3x cheaper. Best to focus on food crops that are more on the medium to expensive side.
Thanks for watching. We still find the taste to be far superior to grocery stores.
❤❤❤
