    Nice on brother! I love the triumph and red /black reveal with their cards....i love the charlier shuffle and use it every time i perform MAXIM with my deck in Mnuemonica 🤜🏻🤛🏻
    👌🏻.....one thing ill do is spread the cards very slowly revealing one face up red card, then the second one, then the third. Much like Bannon and Josh Jays play it straight Triumph. This lets them slowly have their mind fried and let it last, verse spreading fast and its over quick ...You get the point. I love hiw fair the shuffles are. Very sneaky

    Fantastic trick. Thank you. I would just like to add a comment: When your riffle shuffle make sure you do the Riffle Shuffle as you do in the video...by that I mean you should keep the corners pointed into yourself as not to reveal one color of either red or black in one of the piles when riffling. Hope I made myself clear.

    This is great, a streamlined version of Neither Blind Nor Silly. Have you seen Pit Hartlings Chaos? Similar principle but looks even more impossible... and its also self working!

    Another amazing card trick in my arsenal! I love self working tricks!
    One thing I'm uncertain about is you say get two people to pick any card but only one person picks the card and the other person didn't. Would it be best to have two volunteers and have them decide who will pick the card while instructing them both to remember one card each? I'm not quite sure how to present that.
    Thanks for your reply in advance or anyone's reply and thank you for another amazing trick! Can't wait to show my friends and family!

    Great trick, Matt! Other way of doing this would be using a deck half black and half red, and using a crimped card as the middle card. You can instantly cut the deck in half and then make 4 piles, two of red cards and two of black cards. The selections would be made from upper half and lower half and then put back inside the deck on the other half. This all would make the dealing procedure not necessary.

    • @MattMcGurk
      @MattMcGurk  18 дней назад

      Yes, easier on the dealing I agree. The downside is you can’t show an apparently shuffled deck as it’s already separated. This for me would make the trick not as effective.

    • @VitorFerreira-zu5sd
      @VitorFerreira-zu5sd 18 дней назад

      @@MattMcGurk I didn't think of that. That's a downside, yes.

    You can deal out the four piles going around like you’re dealing 4 bridge hands. Then shuffle the north and south hands together and the east-west. Then flip a pile and shuffle

    0:28 "start with a shuffled deck" - I immediately noticed that it's switching red and black, then when the spectator selects a card you mix the order of the two selected cards, so they will switch places. But nice trick anyway.

  • @quintopia

    The back and forth dealing is unnecessary and i feel like people will wonder why you don't just deal four equal piles in the usual way... When you absolutely could.
    You could also have them swap piles with each other at will and you could even have them swap smaller packets of cards. Just keep track of which packets are red versus black (which you can do by glimpsing the face cards as they shuffle) and make sure they only swap cards with someone who has the same color packet.
    You could even have them restack the deck however they want if the packets are equal. Look at the cards and see if the colors are grouped (and cut if necessary to move the boundary to the center) or alternating (and do two cuts to the table at the quarter and three quarter points to accomplish the same, i.e. cut the reds off the top/back, then the black/red section from the center onto it, then the remaining blacks onto that)

    hello Matt, to avoid being seen a red/black arrangment since the beginning, a little tip inside, by Lennard Green, is to fan the card on table by dropping the cards on the table from 8/10cm high (cascade) , making the face up table fan . It will mask pretty much the red/black arrangment... Perfection with caos. Same spirit as roseta shuffle you are using sometimes. Some of the cards will be hidden by others. Seeing red or black cards to be together instead of separated. Have a try. Sure you like it. Thanks for your routine. I'm a big fan.

      Props for the Bob Hummer reference but CATO isn’t used here. That is usually with a small packets of cards that are Cut And Turned Over. This is essentially a self working version of Triumph. Though I do have a few tricks here on my channel that use CATO. It’s awesome. 👍
