the reason why people claim that she's a bad singer is that they're comparing her to singers like ariana and demi. but the issue with that is that all 3 have different singing styles. ariana has a powerful and smooth voice, demi has a powerful strong voice, and selena has a soft and smooth voice. they can't be compared because their voices are nowhere near the same. in the past few years selena has actually improved a bunch in her singing. she's not powerful but her tone is great. not all good singers have loud belting voices.

I'll never understand how come Selena seems more popular than Demi. Demi is just excellent, incredible voice and great songs. I'm just stumbling upon this and honestly I just have one comment: People want to judge Selena for not having big pipes and having this big range and powerful vocals when compared to singers like Ariana Grande and Demi Lovato and Beyonce but it's really unfair for y'all to compare her to singers like that.
