The Z-m Goat comes in 3 sizes and 13 colors: Baby Goat 3" Goat 3.75" Billy Goat 4.25"
I fish this bait with a standard 7'2" MH conventional rod, paired with 40 lb. braid line with 3 to 4 feet of 14 to 20 lb. mono leader. Any 7 to 1 quality bass reel will do the trick. I commonly fish the bait Texas Rigged with 1/8 to 1/2 oz weight pegged with a bobber stop. I use an appropriate size EWG hook rigged texposed so the bait is totally weedless. Give it a try, I think you'll like it.

I have a love hate relationship with elaztech. I'm always making the mistake of mixing them in a box with other baits accidentally and utterly ruining everything. It's like I need to pick - am I going to keep elaztech only on deck or plastisol only on deck. Are there any non zman baits that are fairly equivalent (i know they probably aren't as durable)?

You must be carefull, other like baits are often made from elaztech, sometimes called by different names.

@@indeeponthedeltawithstevec5997 absolutely true. I have the Sleeper Craw from Megabass which is made of it and which I really like, but boy have I screwed those things up and the plastics they get stuck next to. Again, love/hate with that material

Tried the Z man, had a lot of bites, but I think my hook is my problem just like the horny toad get a lot of bites but can’t stick the fish.Camoguy
