- The biggest thanks to Dawn for this wonderful surprise. I will forever cherish this feeling. Austin’s message is too important that I couldn't keep it for me. I want his words to touch you as they did to me. I feel empowered, capable of anything. Austin is an artist who I admire a lot for his humility, his hard-work, and his passion. Receiving words of encouragement from him ables me to change my perception of what I’m capable of and gives me strength. I wish his words can reach out to you too. Austin sees you as he sees himself. Just a normal person who is real. You connect with us because you are real and honest. Homefree connects with us for the same reason, they are just normal americans with talent.
I love that he replied to you! How fun! I've been playing guitar for 47 years and, yes, of course it brings me joy. And it brings me joy when my playing brings joy to others as well. But for 7 years of school (plus a year or two of college) I played the trumpet. I was always a mediocre player and hated "practicing". Then, when I was a senior in high school I decided to "play" more and "practice" less. I spent less time on my lessons and more time playing songs that I wanted to play. I went from second section (of three) to first section (second chair) in no time at all. So I encourage people to not worry so much about "practice", but to "play" every day. The enjoyment is the goal!
During this terrible time of confinement, it's so heartwarming to see this kindness extended to a sweet young fan. In a time when so many are so self-absorbed, to look past himself and bless the life of another speaks hugely about this young man's character. I'm so glad it was you Marie!

That’s not a half bad idea. I loved seeing British RUclipsr s Joel and Lia exploring the US, and I think Marie would enjoy seeing the natural beauty this country holds. Of course, I’m sure France has some beautiful natural wonders, but to see things like Niagra Falls, the Rocky Mountains, Arches National park, The Grand Canyon, The Great Salt Lake, The Appalachians, try some real American BBQ varieties, and make it to a Home Free concert. I got to see them live at the Florida Theatre, and it was the best show I’ve seen. Second best was The Oakridge Boys at Thrasher Horn Theatre in Orange Park, and Chris Jansen was great at the 4th of July show in Orange Park a few years ago.

Do it for you! I have been singing for 60 yrs, and playing guitar for 45. But I do this because it brings me joy. My Mother's family always got together to sing and play, and though none were "professionals" it still some of the greatest memories of my life. Most have passed now, but my daughter and nieces all sing. When I was your age, I travelled many places in a VW Beetle, and the space behind the rear seat fit my guitar perfectly. If I was sad, or just needed relief from driving, i would take out my guitar and play. A small crowd always gathered, and new friendships ensued. Be well.

Well hello Sis! This is Dan Brown from Indiana, USA. No relation to Austin. You certainly deserve everything good that comes into your life. I have been a subscriber for awhile now. I love how innocent and charming you are. Some people that react on you tube use language that is not pleasant to listen to. I have never heard you cuss (use inappropriate language). The only time I heard you say anything was when you received a package that had been damaged in transit. And it slipped out "what the hell". Out of frustration....well keep being you. Don't listen to any negativity. Love your channel.
