This is what i love about Austin Brown, the feeling and emotion that he puts into his songs is just mesmerizing. He is so talented. Such a truly class act. His voice is awesome.
That was a very beautiful rendition. This is from the musical Les Miserables. "Bring Him Home" is a very hard song to sing but Austin nailed it. He has a great voice for musical theatre songs.
Tim, Austin & Chance are each song writers as well as terrific singers. If you haven't heard any of their originals Austin's include: "Love Me Like That", "Save the World" & "Remember My Name"; Tim's include: "Might As Well Be Me"; "Remember This" & "Champagne Taste"; Chance's "Skull & Bones". Austin's renditions of "Unchained Melody", "Tears in Heaven" and his original "If I Met You Now" (all on his channel) are beautiful.
Austin and Sebastien moved outside, with his pond in the background, for a wonderful rendition of Tears in Heaven. Austin and his friend Steven Martinez moved a couple chairs from inside out into the same space for Ain't No Sunshine. And please watch the special message Austin has after that son'g. I think it shows the man big heart and his sweet humanity. Another great outdoor video, and probably my favorite, is Off the Grid. I hope you like these three.
Yes, his solo offerings are shot in and around his house. He has done at least 3 songs that someone else wrote and had him cover - fantastic music. Search for "AUSTIN BROWN (HOME FREE)-EMPTY HOUSE", it is amazing.
He's had some offers. His wife loves musical theatre and I'm sure would love to see him in something. Now Austin is fre of the endless cycle of touring, he has more time to explore his options.
Hi!, I didn't know this version by Austin, It was very interesting and emotional, as much his performance as your reaction too. Thank you, see you next time 👋🎶
I'd like to hear more music theatre pieces from Austin - perhaps from Carousel or Oklahoma. He's also a great blues singer because of his ability to inhabit a song. There is an ever-increasing amount of his own originals on his channel - you might check out Everlasting Ground and I'll Go First. The first cover that Austin released on his own channel was Unchained Melody, just a stripped down version with guitar accompaniment. It's now reached3d 15 million views! which goes to show that you're quite right about how technology has helped independent artists. It's inconceivable that any unknown artist could have sold eg 15 million discs, or even a million. People keep asking Austin for an album but he's being very careful - without a major company's support, an album is something of a risk. I guess we'll see it sooner or later.
Austin, I thought nothing you sing can be as great as "When a Man Loves a Woman," oh boy, WAS I WRONG!!! I didn't know you were no longer with Home Free. I wish you the very best of luck with your solo career.
He is an amazing talent and we will miss him in Home Free but I know great things are in store for him. Your reaction was just like mine the first time I watched this. Love your reaction!! Just hit subscribe for more Home Free and their members!!
Austin majored in Musical Theater in college I believe. His solo work is stunning! I saw Les Mis 6 times and could see it dozens more! Thank you for reacting to this! ❤
@@MrsRealistic on Broadway, yes! I used to do a lot of local theater so the first few times I mostly noticed the smell of the makeup, the costumes and the set changes. Finally the third time I focused solely on the music and the story lines. Unbelievable when you’re there and see the performers faces expressing the emotions etc. I saw Phantom once and that was enough for me, not my favorite, I found the music to be too repetitive and the whole show had a dark depressing feel centering around one relationship. Les Mis gave you a father and daughter relationship, prisoner and prison guard relationship, romantic relationship, the relationship between the young men who fought in the revolution (the staging of this was amazing) and more. It also gave you comedic relief with the Inn Keeper and his wife. I used to work in Manhattan so after work we would go out to dinner and then a show occasionally. Sorry this is so lengthy, I love this stuff!
Austin is amazing! You cannot pin him down to one genre. Just give you an idea of his range, check out his covers of Danny Boy, Neon Moon, Nessum Daorma (with Rob Lundquist) and his original Hers Ain't Mine.
One of my fav songs from Les Mis. I wonder what Austin is doing now he's left Home Free. I don't know if you have seen the Movie of Les Misérables? Our Aussie Hugh Jackman sings Valjean's Soliloquy, He lost so much weight to play the character of Valjean you can hardly recognise him. ruclips.net/video/pJx1pRCey78/видео.html incredible performance.
@@MrsRealistic No worries even if you just have a look yourself I think you'd be blown away. I sit there with hand on my heart and tears in my eyes lol.
He is still in HF until fall. You can easily find out what he's doing on RUclips, TikTok and all streaming services. He is releasing an enormous quantity of songs, all originals.
also not sure if you heard of corvyx hes sensational i think you will love him. Please could we queue this for a possible video in near future >> The Fighter - In This Moment Cover (Male Version ORIGINAL KEY) | Cover by Corvyx
Austin and Sebastian are such an incredible combo and with Austin leaving Home Free, I really look forward to things to come. ❤❤
damn this was so pretty

This is so beautiful. His cover of Tears in Heaven will make you cry, too.
Austin is so talented and such a great guy ❤❤❤
Austin majored in musical theatre at Oklahoma City University.
Tim Foust and Adam Chance also do solo work
That was such a wonderful rendition of this highly emotional song. What a voice Austin has!

I love Austin so much!! That boy can sing anything!!
Notice he also removed any twang in this. Straight on Broadway performance.
It was spectacular!
That's his musical theater training coming to the fore.
I haven't been able to make it through this one without crying. Thank you for the Home Free and Home Free-ish reactions.
Nope...I don't think it's possible! 😭
I've watched this video dozens of times and it still makes me cry.
So glad that you did this reaction - I love their rendition of this beautiful piece!
Me too!
Austin was in musical theatre in college. It shows.
Austin, UNBELIEVABLE!! What a voice, what a song! I loved it!!!!❤❤
Austin did a fantastic job. Hecould easily be on musical.theatre.

#AUSTINBROWN.....so beautiful!
The best cover of this song I've ever heard. I am moved beyond words.
I felt that way too!

Hi I think you should react to Lea Solango singing On My Own. Also Don't Cry for me Argentina. Id give my life for You from the movie Miss Saigon
It's funny that you mention that because those were all soundtracks that we listened to as teenagers!
@@MrsRealistic Lea is amazing
