    I'm 56 been running saws since I was 14. Would love to have one those axes, just don't think I'll be on this stone much longer. Had a tree caught in grapevines swing around and drop on me. No one calls me to help cause takes me longer than ever has to do the removal, so I'm invisible. Never met my dad list my mom and now my family. They look right through me. Love all ur videos Billy. Sorry bought the rant and I know u won't reply. Don't even have the $ to buy gasoline to fix my 7 saws. Work my whole life to be nothing. I wish I had ur strength

    Good information! I just wanted to say thanks for all the info on hand filing to falling a tree you have taught me a lot. My dad used to log back in the forties and would not teach me anything on a chainsaw said he didn’t want me to get hurt. 2 years ago I had close to a $700 light bill and decided I was going to burn wood. I’m going to be 58 and that’s just proof you can teach a old dog new tricks, again I just want to say thanks for all that you teach all of us.

    I'm a Stihl guy but got a 572XP for partial payment for a tree job I did and am becoming a fan. I've also been looking at the Echo saws a bit. I'm kind of deciding that stay in the pro saw series of all with orange color and you'll be happy. I do think the 572XP is more bang for the buck over the 500i, but have not sent much time on the 500i so I can't be a true critic for that one yet.

    Howdy mr.bucken, caught you here on my break,it's 118° down here today and it's a struggle but we were put here to suffer,that saw just sounds badaws,70 cc class saws just feel like I'm hurten them in the bucken of the bigger stuff,my 390 or 660 just is less effort I guess,but my 044 will hang but just feels like it's maxed but a screamer.on the big limbs for sure, run my 084 on big stuff some times because it's a lot of fun to me to run a 120CC saw with a 4' bar just to listen to her bellar along with ease,but a pain to lug around,and glad I happen to ring up on that and to see that I not alone in getting everthing out of 70CC power head!!! They will do it !! Great day to ya and love don't have to be perfect just has to be true!!!! Pleasure Sierra John!

    572xps are fantastic saws especially when “enhanced”. The one featured in the video barks fo sure 😉… Once the autotune / mtronic adjusts itself to conditions it’s a superior power delivery vs an adjustable carburetor from my experience. Going from the 32” bar buried in 30” wood 🪵 to smaller timber it keeps the saw in the “sweet spot” much more precisely than a guy/gal could with an screwdriver 🪛. You would almost have to retune the adj carb version saw every time the diameter of the wood 🪵 changed to keep the tune as precise. I have saws that will buck a fuzz quicker but 1 sec or so in a 20-30in cut ain’t diddly squat in the whole scheme of things. The 572xp is gotta be the SMOOTHEST saw I’ve ever run , far superior fuel economy vs other similarly sized saws and I’ve cut alotta wood with it. 30-32 top plate , .025-.032 raker hand-file round works for my neck of the woods - ymmv 🥩 +🍳

      @@BuckinBillyRaySmith Thanks for replying, Yea, I mentioned it was a stupid question, i'll try to re phrase my question, Is there any differences using the saw if one is left handed or right? Is the saw designed for either a left hand or right. A right handed saw Cutter as yourself sees more of the bar and chain on the clutch cover side, the side we might the bar. Yes it's a weird question but thought I would ask.

    • @atlascharles6895
      @atlascharles6895 Год назад

      @@richiemallette8751Just my input to your answer - yes, most, if not all chainsaws are designed for right handed use. Using your left hand will definitely make it harder to cut, but it also makes it less safe because if the chain snaps on the bar, you're in the path of the chain, since you'll be standing on the clutch cover side if you're using your left hand. Anyhow, using your left hand is not ergonomic for chainsaw use.

      @atlascharles6895 Год назад

      @@richiemallette8751 Just searched it up, and there seems to be no left handed saws. Left handed people are expected to use a chainsaw with their right hand. So, seems like you'll have to get used to using it with your right hand. I don't think it'll take you long to get used to it.

      Nick...Start off with a good oil and mix it with non-ethanol 89+ octane gas at 40:1. There are all kinds of recommendations on the internet but a large percentage of knowledgeable operators like Amsoil Saber/Dominator. I used Saber for over twenty years before switching to Dominator on the recommendation of Randy/Mastermind Worksaws. Donny Walker lets the saw idle through a tank of gas while blipping it to full throttle periodically. He considers that all the break-in it needs. Keep your air filter clean and your chain sharp and you are good to go.
