    I appreciate what you do for the community. Just one remark. If You have no possibilities to have injection moulding tool for pulley cover, please do not 3D print. It looks like DIY. If You will mill it on Your cnc from plastic , it will looks much premium and it will be much durable .Or 3D print it and share stl file to community to be able print it like replacement . Nice day 🛹🤘

    • @MBoardsco
      @MBoardsco  6 месяцев назад +4

      We 3D print these for a very specific reason. We use TPU so the covers remain soft and actually cushion the motors incase of impact. Hard plastic serves almost no purpose.
      We’re the only ones currently pushing soft gear covers, I don’t think enough people really think about benefits of a cushion compared to rigid plastic.
      We will release a CNC metal one soon.

    I would love to see something like this but even smaller and lighter so I can use it either for last-mile scenarios and/or short distance commuter. My dream setup would the same hardware and motors paired with your 10S2P battery and 33" dropdown/through deck (for example the AB Zenit 2.0). I'd most likely use 105mm Mad Wheels to keep it light weight and low profile, but just for giggles I would try 6" pneumatics so it could be an AT pocket rocket 😂

      @@justsomeguy4319 thank u for the kind words 🙏. I actually just did that but for an endurance. I have a lot of 12s4p setups but besides the Hoyt tabor and the defiant, I don’t really have any big boy batteries. We are now doing these super long group rides on Saturdays so IF I wanna ride AT’s, I need a big big battery. But ur right, she does look amazing

    Awesome setup! You guys are on a fast track to becoming the go to recommendation for people wanting a prebuilt board upgrade even here in Australia I think. How many amps do guys run through the dv4s? Looking at it for xenith/stormcore replacement on smaller builds.

    • @MBoardsco
      @MBoardsco  6 месяцев назад

      We’ve got the Amps set to 65a for each motor to keep everything running cool. Plenty of torque for us! So far a great unit!

    • @ajplant96
      @ajplant96 6 месяцев назад

      @@MBoardscoI find street wheel setup 60-65 each is plenty, would be looking at 80ish though to cover the AT side of 2in1 so for longevity’s sake maybe dv6s all round for me.

    • @MBoardsco

      The beauty of the Vesc is that this can be turned up. The D4s can do up to 100a 👍🏻

    • @ajplant96
      @ajplant96 6 месяцев назад

      @@MBoardsco Yeah saw they listed 100a, just found stormcores and xeniths prior having issues with that vs a lower continuous rating so wasn’t sure how it would hold up running higher than the continuous rating often. That said the dv6/s and dv6 pro have had shining reviews from people I know using them up to 150a per side.

    Lets say, hypotehtically I wanted to ride this in an environment where there is frequent snow. Is it recommended I not do that? I understand that batteries do not operate at the same capacity when under colder load.
    I also was wondering if you thought about riding in colder environments using a steel or aluminum plate that is heated with some form of a heater. Something that can be added or removed depending on whether you need it. The heater would be to reduce the stress on the batteries as a cold specific atmosphere.

    Does the enclosure have a gasket to protect from vibration/dust? Does the enclosure flex at all or is this supposed to be a stiff setup? Looks awesome really debating on this or the onsra bc3pro.
