From 1968 I listened to BBC radio playing Faraway Folk during the night (On the Radio).
I bought the LP in Newton Abbot in 1970(?) and courted my wife to their music at the Abbey Sands(?) at Torquay. - Very happy days and memories -

Wow - never heard of Faraway Folk. Impressive music. Nice mix. Kind of like someone merged Fairport/Steeleye & Magna Carta. Really enjoying this. I love all of the English /Scottish folk & prog rock. This is like a mix of the two. Thanks for posting this! Cheers :)

Just going through my LP collection and came across my copy of this album ... They were playing in a bar up on Babbacombe Downs where I was working. Bought a copy and all the band members signed it ... Halcyon Days!
