I bought a revolution 4K player and I was having problems with it. Raphael helped me get it set up. He was so awesome and helpful at solving my problems. He’s an asset to his company. Thank you Raphael .
Bill was awesome to talk to at MWAVE, cool to see them get into the speaker game. Its awesome in the process they are supporting a Ukraine company. I can't wait to hear them, hopefully they will be at Mwave next year.
Thanks Again for this video. I’ve got an Zappiti Neo and the dmb-02 box works with it as well .Such a nice tool to have and I’m using it with a frame 32 tv.
Very nice Noctua cooler in the 8K Pro. Very nice GUI, I like it better than the Zidoo. I REALLY appreciate how it shows if a movie has an native expanded Atmos mix (9.1.6). Very cool. I'm leaning towards getting one. Just have to wait for a review. Digital movie board is pretty cool. Cool products from Bridgee. I really like how shallow the Mag-Theatron speakers are and how they shape the LCR horns to be mounted flat to the wall but asymmetrically throw into the room instead and away from the sidewalls. Anthony Grimani's loudspeakers act are similar but are instead asymmetrical in their vertical dispersion spraying down into the seating area and away from the ceiling. I am however a bit skeptical about what looks like a phase plug on the mid-range. I understand the point of it is likely that the mid-range is crossing higher than normal to the 1" compression driver and the phase plug is attempting to bring them more into alignment. If it works, that's cool! They are $3,800 a piece for the LCR (converted from a Euro-based store, so could be more or less depending on where they ship from). Lotta competition in that price range.
I love how R_Volution shows the native expanded aspect ratio and the digital movie board is awesome. I’m hoping to get some Mag Theatron speakers to review in the near future.
Hey Jordan! I'm coming back to this to see if there's an update for the USA sale of the 8k Signature. It's available in the UK for $2,000 USD (OOF). Hoping it's less in the USA.
I am definitel jumping into Rveltuion this year, just not sure if I need the 8k vs the 4k mini player since I am still on the JVC rs2000. I DEFINTELY want that blutooth remote, that was a huge addition so I might just get the 8k and be future proof.
I received my Player Pro 8K from R_Volution about a month ago and here are my thoughts. So far, I would not recommended anyone purchase it yet. The only way to get content onto the internal drive (that you supply) is to transfer over the network. The Player Pro 8K doesn't recognize any file format you format the drive with on a computer and a computer doesn't recognize the file format the player uses when you use the internal "format drive" feature. Obviously, transferring 80gb files via SMB over the network takes forever. This is broken in my opinion. Secondly and more importantly. the player will freeze at random times during video playback in which the audio will skip around and play VERY loud pops through the surround system. This is not only potentially damaging to your speakers but extremely frustrating as you can't finish the movie that you're watching. This player was not yet ready to be launched.
Very good hardware, but the software is a joke!! I had the brand new R_volution Mini for testing. The basic player software comes from Dune HD and then the R_video software is simply installed in addition. R_video, on the other hand, is the Zappiti PosterWall software with minor changes. The biggest joke is: Dune HD has a smartphone app, Zappiti has/had one but R_volution doesn't have one!! I'm definitely sticking with my Zidoo Z9X 8K!!
I had ordered revolution 8k from france branch since april 2024 until now i did not receive it, i pledge with the company but until now no positive response! Tsk tsk..

Phew! 8K Pro is a tempting upgrade from the 8K player one. Great video Bro!
Thanks Ike!

Bill is a cool dude. I’m working with them to get some Mag Theatron speakers on the channel for review 😃

WOW so very nice 👍

Can I use a spare iPad or other device with an app as a digital movie board?
I doubt it. I believe it connects via hdmi

It’s $1399
@@hatoraidcowboy That's awesome! I don't see it available in their USA store yet though. Hopefully it comes out soon.
I got the pricing straight from Raphael. Not sure when it will be listed in the store.
@@hatoraidcowboy You rock.
Nice prices :)
Noctua fans (brown) are good sign of not cutting costs - those must be silent
For the selling price, I should hope so.
Anybody picking up the new Flagship 8K R_Volution player?
I have the current 8k Player and love it might need to pick up the 8k Pro

@stephenmcgauley Always future proof if you can 😃
@@hatoraidcowboy but at the same time I could always use a 4k in another room to keep expanding. I will end up with both at some point either way 🤪
@stephenmcgauley LOL More than one never hurts either 🙃

Thank you for your feedback.
Why does the newer line have faster UI than the earlier lines? Or does it just look faster on this demo.
Better chipset
@@hatoraidcowboy I see.. not a valid reason though. Guess it’s to draw sale.
and will it no rely on a cloud based videowall this time ?
Its not supposed to. There is also an offline mode.
3:41 The new player can not "be like a NAS for you" because it does not do RAID. A NAS is about redundancy, not storage.
I think he just meant you can access the internal hard drives from other R_Volution players across your network.
